HEY! Now we're moving forward! Let me ask around and see about how icons get put on. In the meantime, anyone know how to send a message out to everyone on the Team to get opinions of what a good icon would be? We could start with a vote for that. What do you think?

We could ask something like: What do you think of when you think "Southeastern MA"? Umm, we sure don't want to be a bunch of TURKEYS! LOL!!! Boston Harbor at night?

Maybe we want some other image...but I would think we'd want an image of our locality. A favorite beach? Let's put our heads together and start to come up with something.

YES WE ARE ALIVE!

We're different ages and physical abilities, but with the same ultimate health goals. Let's work toward them and put our heads together. You girls game????

Catch you tomorrow. I'll create a new thread called ALIVE AND WELL IN SOUTHEASTERN MA tonight where we can begin to post ideas.

Wow! The team is alive! Yippee!!! I have been in an adventurous mood lately...just joined a new gym and have been brave and trying out the different classes. I did a Kettlebell class 2 weeks ago and loved it! Last week I tried the 3-2-1 Shred class, and tomorrow I am going to my first Spin class. I love group exercise classes because they motivate me to not look like a fool and quit....LOL That is how I got involved in martial arts 1.5 years ago. I wanted motivation to get into shape and at 280 pounds I needed lots of motivation to move. I started martial arts to get into shape, but quickly fell in love with it and decided to get into shape for the arts...so there began my journey into the fitness world!

And yeah...we need an icon!

I agree with you Laserdude, we do need an active team leader, hopefully someone who can get a sparkteam rally going, I think it would be fun to meet others on spark but in an area closer to my home. Am i the only one here that feels this way?

I'm not sure how to add an icon to the group either, but would be interested if anyone else had any ideas how to get more excited into exercise, since I've been in a non-exercise rut myself.

Yeah! Somebody is active on this team. Anyone else? Lets move forward. We also need a team leader as the one that is listed doesn't seem to be active either.

Hey Southestern MA Folks, our team is pretty inactive it seems. Let's change this one little step at a time. Can we start with maybe a great icon that represents our area? Anyone have an idea? Anyone know how to put one up?

Also, if I'm out of bounds here, let me know. I'm a newbie. This might come solely under the territory of team leaders. I was just thinking that if we had a great icon, we'd at least show others we ARE in existence. Then maybe we can start some simple team goals.

I'm 56, very arthritic and diabetic. One simple goal for me would be to do something like make sure I wear my pedometer every day so I have a real account of my steps to log. That way each person gets to work at his/her own level, but we're all accountable to some exercise logging.

Any ideas?
