That’s what I was saying! Not necessarily that the cold is the major problem, though it is a factor because the hot beverage I enjoy the most is my own decaf latte with stevia. All of the substitutes that are often recommended on fasting boards just are so sad for me!

I ended up having only one meal yesterday because after a brunch of pancakes and eggs, I never felt hungry again. I was going over to a friend’s house in the evening and I begged off committing to dinner because I had an inkling that I just wasn’t going to get hungry. I think my friend would like it if I would share dinner with her, but I really have to know ahead of time so I can coordinate and that had not been part of the original plan. This morning I’m not hungry either, but I sure would like coffee and something hot to eat. I find it annoying that it keeps being hard in the mornings. I waited until 10 for breakfast for all of Januar y and the desire to eat early never went away. But I’m not always happy when I eat early, either!Hunger wise, I know my body would accommodate a smaller eating window each day, but logistically it keeps being elusive. Being able to find things that adequately keep me distracted is my big issue. I’m trying hard to remember now how satisfying it feels to wait or a good time to eat. I got a couple of things to do but I also think I’m going to plan my meal soon and be sure I have something in it to really look forward to.

My since of humor... this made me chuckle.

Fasting hasn't seen my best efforts lately. Certainly will not see any fasting today. Anyone else having difficulty fasting on these cold winter days that just seem to never end? Where is spring? Did that groundhog lie? Lol!!!

I’m not the leader but I keep hoping to consolidate our efforts. I get too scattered when I’m trying to keep track of a bunch of threads. And I don’t get notices for new friends. I’m having a frustrating day. I’m not actually hungry so it seems convenient to try to keep my fasting to a small window, but I dearly dearly would like to be eating. Oh well. I’m not really saying it to try to fix it here. Just reporting. And yes, I’ve tried all of the tactics for distraction and busyness, etc. It is what it is.
