Hi,
I guess I am on the 3-2-1 plan :-) First I write my plan for the day each morning. I just can't plan more ahead, because then I feel "locked in". I can commit to following a plan one day at a time. I also do 3 meals, 2 snacks. I sometimes feel like I need one more snack, because I'm pumping breast milk for my baby, and it makes me hungry, sometimes in the middle of the night. So far so good...I'm in week 4, and I've lost about 6 lbs, and as long as I don't eat out more than once a week, I seem to lose. I get on the scale once or twice a week just to keep me honest...but overall, it's the plan that really empowers me.

I can not offer any ESH om 3-0-1 but I can share MY esh on food plans. Inwas a grazer, eating 24/7. My first food plan/abstinence (they were the same in the very beginning) was 3 meals and 2 snacks and Imlike to add..... anything goes since the only rule was I could only eat 5 times a day but what I chose toneat was irrelevant. At nearlyn300 lbs, I started losing weight! Slowly I adjusted what Inate such as removing one by one certain binge/trigger foods. My food plan is now one of the many commercialplans withninput from a nutritionist. My ASTINENCE is different. I eat 4 times a day now. I have several rules about food behaviors...such as not eating in my bedroom and not eating in my car. These are [art of my abstinence and part oif the food plan. My food plan is VERY flexible and allows many things that my abstinence does not.

My suggestion is to start where you can be successful and tweak it as time goes on. My abstinence is a living, breathing thing and like all living things it changes as I change.

Sorry this is so rambling. I hope I said something you can use but as they say, take what you need and leave the rest

love and peace, Ann

I've never heard of this but would be interested in learning about it.

I have been debating doing the same thing - so advice is really needed! :D

I have also heard of 3-2-1

Three meals a day - 2 snacks in between - 1 day at a time. Which might be better for me. Dunno.

ALL ears!

Hey everyone! I am debating whether or not to start the 301 meal plan. It seemed impossible when I first started OA, but now I am thinking it may be a great thing for me. My question: How do I go about it? Does anybody have any tips? Advice? Thanks!

Live, love, laugh.
