Hi APLOMB it's now 7.50pm here. I feel I've done okay today following NO S guidelines & rules

Breakfast my smoothie and that's it

Lunch a bread roll with small tin of red salmon, lettuce leaf from the garden and some sliced onion and pepper and salt just a dash no butter or marjarine.

Dinner was 2 small potatoes (organic non GMO) cut in half salted and baked in the oven on high on a rack until cooked. No oil or anything, 1/2 cup peas cooked, small piece of eye fillet thin steak and 2 poached eggs. It all fits on one plate and not a huge plate either.

I feel I'm doing very well with my healthy lifestyle & Eating plan No S makes it so simple and easy to stick to.

I had a late lunch/ early dinner. Will not eat again until morning. Can have coffee with cream. I leave myself the option of having meal before I leave for work around 7:30 a.m. but may also choose to delay breakfast.

My meal gap is getting longer and easier.
Usually last meal before 6pm, breakfast not before 8am usually.more like 9am.
So - 14hrs gap. I'm mindful of it. I usually have a small drink of hot milk late eve.

Today I had breakfast about 9am, then didn't eat again until 3.30pm. Time just slipped by!

Gaaa, didn't make it. It was funny how I justifed it. I went to a meeting at which there are often snacks afterwards, and those were the ones I wanted to skip. There weren't any last night. But I had some leftover from Monday night in the car, and I had some of those. Not the whole bag.

After I finish breakfast, no food until after 1 p.m.

Well I made it yesterday, I did some yoga exercises. I did not eat for that hour and then when it was over I did not even feel like eating any more...

I just had a meal, I will not eat in the next 3.5 hours.

Why do you assume you undo what you've achieved? The times you don't give in count. Just keep working towards making the slips smaller and less frequent. Have faith that they can become weaker and less important. Consider that your thoughts are just part of the habit pattern that the brain produces to KEEP the habit. It's a ruse! You'll get better at it.

Now go do something pleasurable or productive, family, faith, or flow. You deserve it!

Twenty more minutes to go... I may go and have a bath or do some yoga...

The problem is that it seems such an endless struggle... I can be strong 10 times but then give in the next time and 'undo' whatever I 'achieved'... Sigh.... Looks like life / time ask more of me than I have to give with regard to resistance and strength and determination (or whatever it is that is needed to get healthier).

This is up for anyone who feels she is wavering and needs to declare that she has no choice but to wait for that next meal. It's up to members to try it to see if it helps. (But the old habit will sometimes get the brain to refuse to come here because it knows it will be on the spot more!) It's not meant to be a permanent strategyThose who aren't knocking up against the habit don't need to use it, likely. But I know a member on the Living Binge Free team who has been mostly binge free for years who still posts several times a day that she won't eat until X time.

But please do use it! I get an alert when anyone posts and would be glad to cheer you on.

I've been having a fairly easy week, but am considering it for Monday, depending on how S days go.

Ok ... I'm entering into THAT time of day when I often nibble here and there and things go downhill quickly from there. I am commit to ONLY eating my meal and NOT tasting and nibbling before dinner. I will report back tonight.

OOLALA, about those cookies. It's tradition with the grandkids to make and decorate cut-out cookies for the various holidays. The tradition goes back generations. I just gotta be STRONG because having the grandkids here means temptations everywhere.

That is SO true!
But once in the dinner "prep" mode I lose my focus. My habit must be well engrained because I catch myself tasting without having thought about it ... true habit huh? But I won't let THAT one bite be reason to start a binge. No more "all or nothing" thinking (or at least I'm working on it).

Anyway, I did indeed make it until dinner without so much as one finger lick. AND ,,, made a batch of cookies afterwards with the same success. YES!

It was a good No-S day. :)

I SO need to be back on No-S Team site and be active. I am having to retrain my habit. So, I commit to no food until I actually eat from my dinner plate. (I am working on breaking my bad habit of picking and tasting food before and after dinner). Here I go ........ and I will report back tonight.

Monday I am determined to start a streak of Three Meals with four hours between meals. So, Breakfast @ 10 am; Lunch @ 2 pm; Dinner @ 6 pm. No Snacks, no seconds, and no sweets. Also, a min. of 15 min. of exercise.
