I have found that I burn an average of 10 per minute with Insanity.

The best has yet to come.

I have a Polar F6 (I think!) and during month 1 would burn between 300 and 500 calories, depending on the workout. Just started month 2 this week and am burning between 500 and 750!! month 2 workouts are INSANE but AWESOME!!! I am 27, 5'10" and 163 lbs and my heart rate is usually between 160 to 175 during the cardio. I try to bring it down to the low 150s during the 30 second break but usually need 15-20 more seconds to get the heart rate down enough to start again.

Loving Insanity! I burn about 300-500 calories per session. I'm still on month 1 so I'm sure the numbers will go up. My calories are measured with my Polar FT7 heart rate monitor, its AMAZING. Highly recommend, especially if you are picky like me, and want to see each and every calorie burn away! emoticon

Really, it does kind of make sense that my burns would be higher than what my old HRM said. I always wondered my burns were so much lower than most posts that I've read. I thought it was just because I was shorter or something lol emoticon

Thanks!

I'm new to this board, but have been lurking for a month or so .. so hello to all! emoticon

Without going into too much detail so I don't write a whole book here I'm looking for some input from the ladies. I recently broke my HRM and bought a new one... different brand, both with chest strap. I just started using it a few days ago and noticed that my Cal burns with the new one are significantly higher than with the old one. For example, I did Core Cardio & Balance yesterday and my new HRM said I burned about 380 cals. My old HRM said I would burn 200 cals, if I was lucky.

For reference I'm 28, 5'2", and weigh 121lbs. If some ladies can chime in with their burns or ideas I'd appreciate it!

Thanks!!
