Never have taken food out of the trash to eat it, but can see how I would if it was something wrapped up that fell in by accident.

I actually HAVE taken food out of the trash that someone who doesn't know our system threw in. We have a compost bucket, and try not to put anything in our trash that might start stinking. We recycle most everything we can, so our kitchen garbage takes awhile to fill up. Even on the rare occasion there are meat papers from the bottom of styrofoam trays, we wrap those up tightly in plastic bags before putting in the trash.

QUESTION: Have you ever...taken food out of a trash can and eaten it?

Not that I recall, but I am really having flashbacks to an episode of Sex and the City and Miranda digging the cake out of the trash.

Since my co-worker took the late afternoon off, it definitely got busy. I was thankful for the busy time though. I still have much Christmas shopping to do and I need to get that finished. We were just told that we won’t be having Christmas at my Aunt’s house because she’s been down with her back. Chris and I are talking about trying to have it at our house. We’ll have to see if we can make that work. My aunt got my cousin to agree to do it, but she has cats and I’m allergic to cats. I think we may still do it at my Aunt's with my youngest aunt and I going over the day before and early the day of to help. Chris and I will discuss it and then go from there. This year more than any other, I need to be with my family. I’m sure we’ll figure out something. DH has a meeting this morning and there’s a chance of rain so DS16 is taking me to work. I better get moving! Happy Thursday a/k/a Friday eve!

Take Care and God bless,

Tracey W.
