No, I would never pressure anyone into anything.
When I was 17, I pierced my ears with a potato and a dipper pen. No, tattoos for me.

no. I didn't get my ears pierced until I was divorced at 36 and no tattoo as I know a lot of people wish they hadn't gotten one (like my younger sister)

What matters is what's right for you so if you like the new point system go for it. Doesn't matter what others like.

I never pressured anyone except I did get both my daughters ears pierced when they were babies so they couldn't object.

No. Now, I did get both of my daughters' ears pierced when they were infants, so maybe that qualifies since they couldn't decide against it. But they both love earrings, so I don't feel too awful...anyway, we'd numbed their ears and they didn't even cry.

I never pressured anyone into getting a tattoo or piercing--I have no piercing or tattoos either.

no....but my younger son was given a "free tattoo" present by his buddies when he graduated high school. He's now got a bracelet of crosses and other Christian symbols around his upper arm. I know that he wishes he had not gotten it. So I guess in a way he submitted to peer pressure...pretty sure he would not have gone out and had it done on his own.

QUOTE: “Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit.” ~ Vince Lombardi

QUESTION: Have you ever… pressured someone into getting a tattoo or piercing?

Since I don’t have piercings other than the ones in my ears that have grown up and I have no tattoos, I have not pressures anyone into getting either one.

Not really much busier yesterday. It was coming in spurts. Yesterday was one of those days that I struggled to get to 10,000 and had to do a few laps around the house, but I got there. Plan for this evening is to go to my WW meeting and stay for the newbie meeting and refocus this week. Whatever the scale says, it says. I was reminded yesterday that I have a limited number of days before the wedding in November so I have got to get with it. I do think that the freezer cooking will help. I was reading through blogs and one really struck me...they said “Change your way of thinking, it is the opposite of what you think or always been taught.” Honestly, I have comforted myself with food for many, many years. So I know that I need to change my mindset and the way I think about things, including food, to get to my goal. Linda is a great example that it’s possible to enjoy the foods we love if we plan ahead. This is about figuring out how to make the plan work for us. I am determined to do just that. I saw something on FB the other day and it gave me a good idea since I have an issue with having the same exact thing everyday for lunch. They took 4 different veggies and roasted them in separate corners of the pan and then put them with rice and half a chicken breast per veggie. That might help in not getting so bored if it’s a different veggie each day. I am looking forward to seeing my leader tonight and hearing the information again. I really think it will help me. I know there are many that do not like the newest point system, but honestly, it’s about working the system. I better get moving! Happy Friday eve!

Take Care and God bless,

Tracey W.
