I have considered it but, but I don't think I want to do it anymore.

Wishing you a wonderful birthday week!

Sort of. I was tied to a rope wearing a special sling, and gently pushed from a 3rd story platform. My body "swinged" back and forth until it was at the ground. Not something I'd do again. Totally jacked with my stomach. The view up there was great though.

No - I don't like the thought of jumping head-first like that. But I have done the big bungee swing at Six Flags - that was fun. And I've done one of the bungee slingshot things, where you're shot up into the air. That was terrifying at first but then was fun.

QUESTION: Have you ever...bungee jumped?

No, I have not. I have considered it, but I am not sure I could do it.

I am feeling like I need a few days of vacation to catch up and feel rested after last week. Alas, I do not have that kind of time. It’s my birthday week and I’m not sure how I’m going to react this week. It will be the first without Mom and she always tried to make those days special, even when we were broke. I told my DH I wanted to go have Mexican food this week, so I hope we can make that happen. However, we have so many things scheduled this week, I’m not sure there will be much time to celebrate. Vet visit is scheduled, groomer is scheduled, eye doctor appointment for the kids is scheduled. I scheduled the dentist, but I’m going to see if I can schedule an appointment with another office because it’s going to take almost a month to get in. I also need to figure out how much time I’ve taken off and how much I have left. There is a women’s conference with the church at the end of April that I want to go to. I am determined to start my 46th year better than my 45th year. I am setting a schedule again. If I can’t get to the gym, I’m going to work out with a DVD. I need to make this happen. Jarrod got to go home on Saturday and is doing pretty well. He said yesterday that his incision was itching, which I know means it is healing. On a positive note, they said he may be able to drive after his follow-up visit on the 6th. I better get moving!

Take Care and God bless,

Tracey W.
