Do you mean something like a Vegetarian Curry - is that spicy enough? I think I've seen one or two in SparkRecipes. Our local Indian restaurants and Mediterranean restaurants usually have some variant of this dish - yummy!

Came across some "Greek whipped cream cheese' at the store - brought home a couple flavors - excellent, healthy dip for fresh fruit and veggies. Enjoying it!!

I am wanting to learn how to incorporate pumpkin into my foods, menus and anti-inflammatory life style - needing suggestions for recipes in my sugar free for diabetes, gluten free for celiac and heart healthy for stents and general need to loose weight for all the above and mobility issues.

Any suggestions of how you use PUMPKIN in your way of eating. ? ?

Really enjoying fresh berries and cherries from our farmer's markets - tiny portions allowed on the pre-diabetic carb restriction but am freeing them in small portions for the winter too.

The fibromyalgia flare has eased off and back to low pain levels I can live with and no pain meds if careful with pacing activities and spacing magnesium supplements carefully and anti-inflammatory diet is KEY to success

Enjoyed canning some asparagus dill pickles today - we grow our own and although I am not able to pick it, I was blessed with friends coming and picking some for me today -
Simple recipe the same as I use for all our dill pickles - can use fresh dill and garlic or dried source and we enjoy it all winter - have been reading more about use of asparagus value in preventing and treating cancer.

2.0 small (6" to 6-7/8" long) Banana, fresh (or 1 Avacado)
3.0 date, pitted Medjool dates

Thanks for the tips on the oil. I appreciate it and will look for the California Ranch. I have been buying mine from Trader Joe's lately. Some of the grocery store brands aren't so tasty!

My favorite recipe right now is chia seed pudding. I throw a bunch of berries on top and eat it for breakfast. I make it using almond milk and chia seeds. If you google it, you'll come up with a million recipes - some will be better for inflammation than others.

finished my jar of fat free commercial Mayo today and was jus thinking about looking for mayo recipe - this pops up on my Facebook...What are your experiences with making mayo?

Healthy Paleo Mayo with Apple Cider Vinegar
Recipe by: Megan Olson
This healthy spin on mayo takes just 4 ingredients and a few turns of a blender!
Tools
Food processor
Glass jar
Ingredients
5 egg yolks, room temperature
2 T apple cider vinegar
4 t Dijon mustard
¼ - ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
Place the egg yolks, apple cider vinegar and mustard in a food processor or high-speed blender. Blend on high 10 minutes until thick.
While the blender is still running, very slowly stream the extra virgin olive oil into the blender. Start with ¼ cup, then stop the blender to check the consistency. If it’s too thick for you, add up to a ¼ cup more to thin it out.
Scrape down the sides of the blender and then transfer the Paleo mayo to a glass jar. Store covered in the refrigerator up to one month.

In Australia,
There are strict food standards regarding olive oil,
This means no adulterated or blended old oils and strict categories of cold-pressed and extra virgin.
Since there are many olive groves transport and aging are minimal and overseas oils are assessed to make sure they meet our categories.
we are blessed

I've been reading a lot about inflammation. Sesame seed oil is very inflammatory. It is unstable and by the time you get a fresh bottle home, it's technically rancid and inflammatory. Even the beloved Extra Virgin Olive Oil needs to be carefully chosen for freshness. Apparently most olive oil on the market today is adulterated with cheaper, more inflammatory oils and they don't even have to list it on the label! I did some research and found a brand called California Olive Ranch that is sold at Walmart for a decent price. You should only buy EVOO in a DARK, GLASS bottle for the best quality. Don't keep it around long either. Buy a small bottle if you don't use a lot. So much to learn... so little time!
