Yes, I have a vegetable garden that is doing very well this year already. In fact, we have harvested some radishes already.

I also compost all kitchen wastes that I can and am able to replenish the soil with it.

No, but I grow other plants

We grow mostly salad food....radishes, onions, lettuce, cucs, peas, beans, dill, carrots and beets.

My #1 change is in my attitude. I am ready for a big change in my life and have been working towards making them.

1. eat healthier
2. strengthen my body
3. strengthen my lungs and cardio capacity
4. enjoy my favorite outdoor actitivies (rollerblading, ATVing, gardening, etc)
5. learn, learn, learn

I can't fit going to the gym into my schedule goes hand-in-hand with it's too hot outside. My knee/shoulder/back hurts would be my second favorite. It doesn't work though, because 30 min into the workout, It quits hurting. The exercise actually makes it feel better.

What exercise excuse do you use most often?

I don't have time
I'm too tired
It's too difficult for me
It's boring
I don't want people to see me
I don't know what I'm doing
I don't make any of these excuses



Mine are...I don't have time or I'm too tired. It doesn't happen often. I try my best to get moving in the morning and then I'm done with my routine by noon.

the best part of grilling out for me is that DH does the cooking and it means a little less work and a little less cleanup for me emoticon ..and it adds a different flavor to the meat so it helps to change it up

What's the best part about grilling out?

Getting out of the kitchen
The flavor of the food
Spending time outdoors
Getting family and friends together
Nothing- I'm not a fan of grilling out
Something else not listed here


My DH does all the BBQing. I love the flavor of meat and veggies done on the BBQ. And also it's great to have friends over onto the deck for a great time.

What's your opinion on tanning beds?

I think they're safe
I think they are unsafe
I think their safety depends on factors like skin type


I think they are unsafe. It is like exposing yourself to ultra violet rays that can result in skin cancer. I think another option is spray tanning!! That may also come as a concern at one point in time.

On average, how many times per week do you eat dinner while watching TV?


In the winter DH and I eat by the TV because we have the fireplace going. In the warm weather maybe twice a week ... mostly on the weekends.

lol I don't have much of the bad things in the house anymore not only am I changing it up for me but for my sons as well so what I don't buy they can't eat

DO YOU HAVE FOOD IN YOUR CUPBOARD OR FRIDGE THAT ARE SABOTAGING YOUR HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHANGES??


We have double chocolate ice-cream in the fridge and our friends who have come to visit for a few days brought the biggest bag of FULLY LOADED BAKED POTATO CHIPS....YUMMO!! Bad Hand...Bad Hand!!

WHAT WAS THE #1 CHANGE THAT MADE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFESTYLE???


Mine would be to make sure that I do some sort of walking each day (outside or treadmill) and to also cut down on the junk food.
