I feel like a bear coming out of hibernation, stepping out of the cave and seeing SUNLIGHT! I am just so happy to be here.

In an effort to be organized I turned off all email notifications and can't remember how I did it to turn it back on! Yikes! So I feel like I'm out of the loop. Trying to figure it all back out again.

Let's see, I gained about two pounds while we were gone, then another 4 when we got back but I am so not beating myself up over it because the old me would have woke up six months from now and said "how did I get here?" so I'm thankful it was only two weeks for me and a handful of pounds instead of 40 like last year.

Can't wait to get back in the loop! I missed you all!

I made a pledge to keep moving six days a week. So far I have not been successful but this is another week and I have moved two days in a row! Yea me! Keep your fingers crossed that I can keep this up. I am not going anywhere until August so I should be able to establish this habit.

That's a great challenge for yourself. I just made my first mile without stopping to walk! It was only jog, but I did non the less!

Sounds like every one is doing great! I am so proud of all of you. Just reading all your posts gives me great encouragement everyday!! I up-ed my walk from 1 mile to 3 miles during the last 10 days of June. I am excited to say that I am going to keep up the 3 miles but I would like to challenge myself to trotting/running at least a mile & 1/2 out of the three by the end of July. Lets GO TEAM!!!!!

How do you feel about the 30 day shred? I love it. I started over though because I feel like I wasn't pushing myself hard enough. I do really work up a sweet though. Well let me know. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!!

Hey! I'm working on Jillian Michael's 30 day shred too! I did 10 days on level 1 and I'm now on level 2. I know I've done 10 days in level 2 already, but I'm gonna stay there a little longer since I don't feel like I'm quite ready to move on to level 3. So I think my 30 day shred will last longer than 30 days! I'm slowly but surely working towards my goal. I was doing great for about 3 weeks and then it became that time of the month and I've faltered a little, but I'm trying to get back on track starting today! Good luck with all you're doing and keep shredding!!

Hi,
I have been doing water aerobics at my Mom's Senior Condos twice a week. It's fun!
I also challenged myself to jog around my 1.19 mile block, which has not been fun! emoticon TOO HOT emoticon I have done the 30 day shred but never more than one day at a time. So I guess that is the 1 day shred on level one only! emoticon
If you do that for a full month you are more of a woman than I'll ever be! emoticon
Rachel has been doing it as well. Plus she ran another 5K! She is kickin' butt! GO RACH! emoticon

Wow!!! You are busy! That's very inspiring that you can do all that in one week! How is the water aerobics. I love swimming and the water but have never been enrolled in an actual water aerobics class. emoticon


BTW I wanted to make a correction. I'm on the 30 day Shred. LOL. I got it confused with the 28 day Challenge here on SP

I am starting over on my goal also, I did not do well in losing the 6 pounds I wanted to lose in June.
I am doing more exercising then I did. I am going to the fitness center Mon, Wed & Fri for an hour of low impact Aerobic classes. I go on Tue & Thur evening for 50 minutes of Tai Chi and I go monday through Friday each afternoon for 60 min of water Aerobics as well as walking my 60 minutes every day. I have not lost the pounds I wanted to lose but I am firming up muscles that were very flabby before, I believe the pounds will start coming off as well.

And so glad that you are a part of this team! I think it's great that you are being honest with yourself about your workout! That really shows you are willing to do what it takes to be the best you.

Doing well here..this weekend-not so much, but good in general. For me, as long as my life is scheduled I do really well...it's when I get off schedule that I start to struggle. But you now what-90% of my life is scheduled so that 10% won't be enough to hurt me. I'm pushing to hit 265 by the end of the month...will it happen? We'll have to wait and see!

First of all I want to thank everyone on this team. You all have been so supportive and I know I'm new but you guys rock. You have made me excited and pumped up to lose weight and feel good even if things aren't perfect.

Ok well what I really want to know is how is everyone doing on their goals. I'm a currently on week two of the 28 day shred with Jillian Michaels. I'm thinking of starting over I don't feel like I worked hard enough the first couple of week and I don't want to cheat myself. Well I hope every one has a blessed day and enjoying the summer weather!
