We tried it today and honestly I thought it was really yummy! It seemed like a big dessert too for the amount of calories that it was. It felt like a real treat!

I tried this and it was very good! I was surprised because when I thought of ricotta cheese and cheese cake, they just didn't seem to go together. BUT it was good! emoticon

Well, first of all I didn't follow the directions because a) I don't like to use sugar free ingredients and b) I wanted to use what I had on hand without buying anything. So I used crushed up Famous Wafers (I keep them on hand already crushed for yogurt and berry parfaits) instead of the Nabisco Oreo wafers, I used sugar instead of Splenda and I did not have any Cool Whip or pudding mix on hand to add.

I made a double batch for my husband and myself. It was quite delicious although my husband said (and I agreed) "It's really good but it doesn't taste like cheesecake". I didn't tell him about the ricotta. The texture was very good and I would definitely make it again if I was in a pinch for something sweet.
