My kids (5 of them) are all grown. For the most part my kids and grandkids do not eat healthy. However one of my sons has been into fitness and health for many years. He and his wife do eat healthy and feed my two grandchildren healthy. Wish the others would do that.

Overall, both my daughters eat healthy. They have been an inspiration to me to do so as well.

My 14-year old does not as healthy as I would like. He is a picky eater and some days it's all I can do just to get food in him.

His 19-year old twin sisters have always been healthy eaters and loved a wide variety of foods.

My pregnant daughter went to the doctor and they had her write her diet for the prior 3 days and I was so proud that they told her she is eating perfect, not to change a thing.

Both of my sons are grown. The youngest is married and his wife cooks healthy meals at home. The oldest is single, doesn't care to cook and eats out most of the time, not so healthy. I do cook Sunday dinner and all come, it's a family tradition, and that is a healthy meal with a healthy dessert also!

my newly married son eats better than I do when he's at home, thanks to his near vegan wife. She has not totally converted him, but they do eat low fat, lots of good organic fruits & vegetables & meatless several times a week. His job & studies keep him traveling a lot, tho, & he admits to lots of pizza & burgers when away. We at home are moving toward less meat fats & more fruits & veggies than when son lived with us, but not as rigorously as new daughter-in-law. I'm hoping her cooking will keep my son fromthe heart problems his dad fights.

My kids are no longer at home...the one in China eats less carbs (not so into rice), mostly fresh produce and meats...the one in my area has joined up with SP and we now eat less bread/sandwiches which were always a favorite last minute choice (I'd guess it was the default)and we are all learning about portion control...but I am sure missing the cheese in my diet.

All my children r grown, n all but one of them have awful eating habits. My eldest daughter has remained as skinny as always but the rest of her siblings have gained a lot of weight, emoticon n of course I have a lot to blame in that area. But now that I've started my weight loss journey I've am trying to share some of the healthy choices even with my daughter bcuz skinny doesn't always mean healthier. Da 1 thing I'm pleased about is that I am sharing my healthy lifestyle with my g-babies n they enjoy r snack times n walks we get to talk about everything n anything, emoticon .

To some extent I eat healthier but only because my kids as well as my husband are picky eaters. The kids are given exactly they same things but my oldest will not eat vegetables and will only eat bananas and grapes. My youngest will only eat raisins, corn, and brocoli. My husband is not much better. If my son eats all of his meal at school he is eating healthier than what I could pack because our school district is striving to provide nutritious meals. For example pizza is done with wheat crust. I fix my youngest one's lunch and they are fairly healthy but he has gotten into gummies and I cannot always get him to eat the healthier ones because he has to have the ones shaped like his favorite characters.

As far as drinks they drink chocolate milk at breakfast and supper. Juice at lunch and generally about 3 other glasses of juice. Otherwise they have to drink water. My youngest loves water, my oldest if that is only choice and he's thirsty he will drink it.

We're all good water drinkers.

My oldest and I eat healthy. My younger son and my husband are picky eaters but are trying to eat healthier. We all try to get exercise in every day but my husband really needs to eat outside of the box when in comes to fruits and veggies. He really has a hard time with textures.

To a certain degree I do, but my whole focus in living a healthy lifestyle is to pass those habits along to my 10 year old son. I am proud to report that my son likes to drink water and rarely will drink soda or Southern Sweet tea- which is when we go out to restraurants. He has learned that if he chooses to eat chips or candy it has to be off set with 2 healthier snacks later in a fruit choice or one of the whole grain crackers or cereal I have in the home. Even when eating candy he limits himself to 1 or 2 pieces without me having to enforce anything.

Plus since I make the meals so it goes hand in hand that family meals are healthy ones. I pack his school lunches but who's to say what he trades for.

My goal is to get these healthier choices ingrained in him so when he hits mthe middle school & high school years he makes better choices for himself.

My 13 year old son eats very healthy, he plays sports and loves fruit. My 10 year old daughter, not so much. She loves junk food, but also loves soup. I would say for the most part they do better than me because we pack their lunch everyday and sometimes I eat not so healthy at lunch. We both eat pretty healthy breakfast and I will say over the last 6 weeks I eat healthier than everyone in my family dinner, but that was not always the case. I feel like we are making progress on setting good standards, but we have a ways to go before all of us are true health food experts.

My children are grown I can say with conviction they eat healthy 98% of the time. They are strong advocates against processed foods and are making sure my grand kids develop good habits too. I believe seeing my struggle with diabetes and being over weight greatly influenced them to take better care of themselves.

One daughter and her husband eat very healthy as well as exercising regularly. The other son and daughter and their spouses are all about the fast food!

My son is 9 years old and he is overweight for his age group ... while I try to encourage him to eat healthier he still craves junk food. He is limited to fast food no more than 1x per week, same with soda. Its difficult since his Dad does not eat much fruits and veggies.

If you have CHILDREN, do they eat healthier than you?

I do not have children but I would think that small children meals are more controlled and may be healthier than that of their parents. Perhaps school age children's meals are not as healthy, especially of they eat in a school cafeteria.

Do you eat healthier than your children?
