Thank you. I'm feeling better. I've been FORCING myself to jog in the morning 5 days a week, even if it's just around the park near my house.
I have been drinking 84oz a day (mostly water)
I have been walking with my hubby after dinner (about 1 mile)
I suck in my stomach and remember WHEN I reached my goal.
I try to weigh in only on Wednesday and I have a spark buddy to answer to.
I'm also finding A LOT of motivation by listening to "THE SPARK" CD over and over.
AND
I have started a new log to write down EVERY calorie each day. I admit I blew it yesterday BUT it was ONE day and I won't let that destroy my efforts.
Back to trying harder...Can't wait to report I've reached my goal because I will!!!! emoticon

My suggestion is to get out and walk if you can...even if you end up taking small walks a few times a day. Then use the time to think about what is really bothering you...come home and have a glass of water or a low sodium V-8.

Journaling feelings was a great suggestion. Taking small steps to create the change you want is another. Make out a daily food plan (even if you have to change it) the night before. Than you can see what food you might need to prep. Do a little exercise each day will help with the stress. No amount is to little. Keep coming here to get support. Focus on one day at a time. Good luck on remodeling.

When we first start this journey we often have a lot more than 15 pounds to lose, And it seem rewarding because during that time you are likely to lose 2-3+ per week. But when we get into the last leg of the race, with only a little left to lose to be to our goal, its easy to get frustrated. You may only lose 0.4 or something each week. But give yourself credit for the positive things you have done, take your mistakes in stride and learn from them. Its sounds like you know what to do. You've done it before. You can do it!

I am new to this team, but I can relate. Seems like I never get enough, even when I am satisfied, something inside still wants more. I need to make it stop.

Back to the question: so what's my problem? I don't know, but your problem seems to be my problem too!

Remember the slogan "this is the first day of the rest of your life?"
Actually it would be wiser to live each day as if it were the last day of your life.

get rid of your cookies and junk food. Eat fruit and veggies. Drink lots of water, its worth the change in habit. Eating more food only makes more problems.

It seems that you recognize that you're eating just to eat, not out of hunger. That's a big step. Now, step away from the cookie and plan what you're going to eat that's healthy. One step at a time.

I just had to look at myself if a photo.. I was very big. You only have 15 lbs to lose. Some of us have had over 100. NOw is the time to do it. And I see you are on the right track.

I was out of the game for over a year after I had my son. I was discouraged and didn't have any motivation. Personally I think I suffered a little postpardum depression, but who knows.
I gained 28lbs with him, lost 22 in the first two weeks, got the depo shot and gained 12lbs in three days. After that it was why bother? So, I wallowed in self pity, didn't exercise much, ate like crud, ate too much, was in a negative state of mind and just didn't want to deal with it. So, I ended up gaining more weight and was back at a weight more than at pregnant weight gain. anyway, a coworker gave me some diet pills a few months ago and I tried them for two days. Those two days I didn't hardly eat at all, in fact, I made myself eat so I wasn't starving myself. I hated how they made me feel so I quit them. But, it did give me my motivation back to get back into my healthy lifestyle. I can't ask my children to eat healthy when I wasn't. I couldn't ask them to be more active if I was sitting on the couch all the time.
In any event, I got back into and have manged to lose 20 of the 35 I gained back. It is tough, we will always be fighting this battle I believe. LIfestyle change = lifetime.
good luck my friend.

I have found going back to small steps to make myself feel more in control and better works. When i say I can exercise for 10 minutes it works and usually goes into more.

I am not losing this fat - I am removing it for good.

Great advice here!

I'd suggest a nice hot bubble bath.

An afternoon with a friend, etc.

may I suggest you get yourself a BIG journal book and start writing down all your frustrations instead of turning to food. Promise yourself you will write in your journal for 15 minutes before you eat something. I'll bet that craving will go away. you might even find a pattern emerging about your frustrations and maybe then you can get a handle on what is eating you.

Hi,
Just venting here.
I'm continually feeling like I just want to EAT.
I'm angry, annoyed and just plain fed up with work, my kitchen remodel, my kids, my husband.
I'm trying to get in a groove, back to jogging, back to logging calories and I've just LOST all my willpower...I'm so mad at myself I continue to sabotage. I had a daydream that I gained a lot of weight. I'm trying to pull out of this. ANY experiences you can share on how you picked yourself back up and started OVER again!!!
My goal is to lose another 15 pounds.
