Very good, I resisted all the JUNK food at my mom's and ate some fruit at my mother-in-laws. When we got home we had a light dinner and I was very proud of myself. I have my RESISTANCE back!

My sons and I treated my wife to a movie and dinner, after starting the day in church.

It was a very wonderful day.

Overindulged over the weekend, but have learned not to beat myself up about it, walked a mile to work yesterday for the first time and got right back on track. Today I am respecting myself and my body and practicing better choices.

Diet wise - it was the pitts. Couldn't, wouldn't 'n didn't stay in control. Other than that, it was terrific! emoticon

My brunch was terrific. I really didn't over eat. I had bits of this and that and tried to log in everything.

It was so awsome. My oldest son took his wife, mother-in-law and me to a Mother's Day concert with oldies, then we went to olive Garden. I forgot the name of the dish but it was pasta with chicken and broccolli and a sauce. My blood suger was 125 when I took it. so it was a great day. O, no dessert.

I had a great on program Mother's Day Weekend. Obviously it helped that we had nothing special planned. We celebrated last weekend by having lobster in Dallas area with baby daughter and hubby.

I received a patio set for my gift and so I enjoyed sitting on my patio and reading when I wasn't busy doing other things around the house or attending church.

All in all it was terrific.

I was worried about Mother's day and the food being served and comments. I posted and enjoyed reading all your posts and concerns regarding the upcoming weekend. So how did it go?
I am so happy to report that last minute I was asked to bring the veggie tray after all and I was happy to do so. I ate those veggies a lot! I did well because the main course was lemon chicken breast and I ate the veggies with it. Although I drank a glass or two of wine my calorie intake was low and no one said a thing about my weight. Phew. It went well.

So how about you?

I am not losing this fat - I am removing it for good.
