Today, I put my baby sister to workout again, we did cardio salsa from a DVD for 30 min, 15 min stationary bicycle, strength training and stretch, and my DS join us for a while.

Today I logged in here and that's a good thing, made all my necessary burned calories for last week, stopped eating even though there was yummy food over the weekend.

Things that went well today:
1. went to the gym even though hubby stayed home
2. listened to my body and walked a mile rather than run
3. made myself finish my workout with resistance training even though i had planned to skip it
4. I logged in here today
5.I called Dish to tell them I need to quit, bill too high and they cut it by 45.00 : )

Went to Curves, spent 30 minutes on circuit and 30 minutes doing a variety of other exercises including hula hoop.

I took a walk then went out to breakfast with a friend. I ordered pancakes, but only ate one and a little juice. I didn't get any bacon or anything that would make me overeat. I am happy with how that went.

Stepping on the scale and liking what you saw is so wonderful! Wouldn't be also great if when we stepped on the scale and it didn't read what we wanted it to read, we'd still have a positive attitude? Usually I don't...but I hope you do when/if that happens.

I haven't made huge changes in my life as far as fitness is concerned; however, now that I am running around doing errands and keeping an irregular schedule going to visit at the hospital, checking in with family and all, I am pleased that I have more stamina and better muscular toning to do all I need to. emoticon

(Yesterday) I went to Curves in the AM and to a Pilates mat class in the PM. I LOVE Pilates (mat and Reformer too)! Stayed within my caloric goal, and got those 8 glasses of water in. Also bought some protein powder from health store to put in my smoothies as I'm having a hard time getting enough protein without too much fat. Will begin that today.

emoticon I have been away from home this week and will be next. It feels like a test because I have been very disciplined up until now but, because of the situation of being with people and eating with them and not having leisure to do much of my exercise, I occasionally eat more calories than I'm supposed to have. Still, I only eat the correct number of meals and never very much. It's only that buying food instead of cooking it, it's harder to control. At least, I'm still trying.

I only ran for 10 minutes this morning, but I did get to my classroom to clean and arrange my room around. It was too hot. I think my air was not working. I did not feel so good when I got home. I had to rest for a while. We start with the students on Aug 3rd. My summer is almost over.

I discovered I could live and function on much less food than I am used to.
