Hi All
Sorry I haven't been around been so busy with the Biggest Looser Challenge. Posting results of exercise challenges, doing blog post challenges, chat room challenges and of course doing the exercises they give us. It's demanding , but love it. It's pushing me way past what I thought I could do.
I will try my best to stop by when time allows.

As I was walking my three, I was thinking about that old joke: how can you tell if a motorcyclist enjoys riding his bike? By counting the number of bugs in his smile. That led me to think of the numbers of bugs we eat every day, and wondering how many I was eating per mile. Then I thought I'd better pay attention to where I'm going. 8-)

Still going though e-mails! And letting you know that The 3 pounds gained on the Alaska trip are gone! Feeling pretty good about that, so really think it is time to talk to my doctor about dropping the diabetes meds. Before I get too confident, need to remember that this is occurring after a 5 year process. Being a tortoise has its benefits but it can be frustrating!

I get to go to a buyers show in town today, so that means I will get in some walking. I like doing these shows. Its a good way to find new product for my shop and get in some exercise.

emoticon WEGENERCS! And you know if you can do it on a cruise, you will be able to do it with your friends and family.

Today I plan to do some work around home that needs doing such as laundry, etc. This heat is for the birds (live in Florida) and we will get our first break around mid October. So, I am happy to be home today in air conditioning. emoticon

Just returned from Alaska and am catching up with late posts! Difficult to lose weight and exercise on the vacation BUT managed to only gain 3 pounds on a cruise. Kept remembering the advice to fill your plate first with salad, etc, to take the edge of. Then filled in with the main entree. Walked when we could have ridden on some of the tours, and took the stairs rather than elevators. All in all, not bad for 2 weeks of eating every single meal out somewhere. Struggled one time with a low blood sugar episode. For me a reading of 62 really made me sick. Need to talk with doctor next week whether now is the time to drop the Metformin. With low dose of meds blood levels are consistently in the low 90s
