Less mid afternoon cravings, a less headaches, and almost no heartburn. Not to mention that the bloating is less reduced.

I have noticed that I feel colder in the evenings and that my cramps are worse during TOM.

Gimme, I've read in several places now that our need for salt increases when eating low-carb, possibly by quite a bit. I'd say follow the urge.

Less bloat, less ankle swelling. I have ankle bones now instead of cankles!
Weird intense salt cravings...I'm so used to low sodium everything I'm probably not eating enough sodium.
A smaller belly and pants almost falling off!! emoticon

I concur with so many of these things!
LILCOBBY - I have Raynaud's, my hands are *always* cold. I can't tell if that's a difference or not!
LADYJAKE - I'm also rarely hungry. I have a protein shake in the morning (or, whenever I get up), and I have to *remind* myself to eat at dinnertime so I'm not hungry and looking for a meal at 11pm or midnight! And when I do get hungry, it really IS hunger ... not just appetite!
LIVERIGHTNOW - I have a lot more pep than I used to, too. Not that that's much, in any event .. but I do actually have times I feel like doing things; sometimes I'm so antsy about it I just have to go out ... even with nothing on the planning agenda!
And oh SIMPLEMAW -- my cast iron is in its joy! It gets bacon all the time! And it lives under a lovely emollient wash of coconut oil when it's not "working" at bacon! Somebody should publish that stuff on the Paleo/Primal/LC blogs! haha
CHIPOCO - I don't get snackies at all anymore - unless I happen to drive by something that piques my appetite. It's just a notion, though. I don't *really* want it. What a relief, huh?!?
And ewwww, BEARCLAW - I've *never* liked coffee! Well, I always loved the aroma, unlike you. That and beer. Both of those smell delectable to me. I can't bear the taste of either. I won't even (and never did) eat coffee ice cream! bleah All I taste is bitter. yucko

The benefits of LC and the various so-called "ancestral" diets are limitless, IMO. I love it. I can't imagine why anyone would want to do anything different, or go back to the garbage diets we used to embrace. Mystifying.

Yes to some of the things listed. I will add a weird one....

I hate coffee. I hate the smell so bad that I have never actually taken even a sip of coffee. Like, getting into an elevator with some big steaming cup of nasty blend was unpleasant for me. I have tasted it when mixed into some candy or cake, but just really can't stand it. But....since going low-carb, it is far less gross to me. I still would not dream of drinking it, but now the smell isn't offensive to me.

October 2010: 345 lbs
October 2011: 215 lbs
October 2012: 215 lbs
October 2013: 251 lbs (Doh, time to get back on track)

I'm rarely hungry, so I don't have to get up every couple of hours to look for a snack. And my mind is so much clearer. I have the memory of an elephant now!

I was having headaches almost daily, none since I started Atkins, heart palpitations gone, much less hungry, feel in control.

Losing weight, while gaining myself!

What kinds of things have you noticed since eating low carb? I've noticed that my bloat has severely diminished, which is great! My hands finally don't hurt to make a fist because of bloating. I also notice that my hands are always cold when I eat low carb, which is odd. What about all of you?? what do you notice?
