I had been strict zc for many years prior to pregnancy, so eating low carb felt so weird! I was wondering what I would do after the baby, if I would want to go back to zc or stay very low carb. I naturally went back to zc. Al;though, I do eat cheese sometimes on my burgers now and I never did that prior to my pregnancy. I think I am more flexible now, if I really wanted some vegetables, I would just eat them, while before it was not even a possibility for me.

I'm overloaded today! Walked the dogs and now I need to get ready for 'work'. I might only put in five hours today but I'm so focused and working so intently when I am there that I come home drained!

Thanks Kris!
I'm nervous, excited, energised and tired all at the same time! I'm praying that I get my epidural bc they don't routinely do them in Scotland. However, I've read that a ruptured appendix hurts worse than natural childbirth, and I've been through that already in 2006.

It's funny, I've stayed LC this pregnancy, even lower in carbs than Atkins recommends, but I still feel like I've indulged quite a bit...plenty of fruit, nuts, dark chocolate, etc. i am glad that my weight didn't skyrocket like the other women in my family who didn't LC while pregnant. It is also sort of strange that I'm actually looking forward to restricting my carbs even more once the baby is born. I want to be like Suzanne emoticon I might not be able to do ZC, but I'll probably go very LC.

It's already after 3:30 pm here and I've been meaning to reply since 8 am this morning! Been that busy,,,

Did manage a walkies with the dogs early on -- just after 8 am -- and have been plugging away at packing; time to go to the post in an hr, and still more to pack! So this is brief.

Wasn't hungry till 11 am -- but had loads of liquid. Huge salad with egg and mayo (ran out of cheese, so guess where I am going after the post office?), salmon with broccoli and asparagus for dinner (didn't get to making it last night), then dessert is decaff coffee with cream and sugar-free, flavoured syrups.

Lending my M/C helmet to stepdaughter to she can ride safely with her new BF. So my ride will be around 6 or 7, then take the dogs our again around 8 or so.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

I woke up absolutely starvingt this morning too! I wasn't that hungry last night so didn't eat very much at dinner, so that might have been the reason. Although I have come to love waking up really hungry, cos it makes me feel like I must have done well the day before, so my body spent the night burning up my fat reserves haha That might not even be true, but I like to think it is. It beats the times I used to wake up still full from the day before, due to having stuffed myself full of junk.

Today I've got a netball match tonight (praying the rain doesn't come along and ruin those plans, but you never know in London!) and then hopefully going to go for a 3 mile run afterwards (again, weather permitting).
Hope everyone is having a great day.

I skipped lunch yesterday cause I was not hungry, not a good idea. I was in such a foul mood by dinner time, it was not pleasant. So, I have to remember that I cannot just eat when hungry cause I often do not get hungry.
Not sure what my plans are for the day, my moms group is meeting, but not sure if I want to go or not. I should go, cause as a stay at home mom I need to force myself to be social. I can get caught up in my own world of walking and reading. So, I will force myself to go I guess. I always have a good time once I get there.

Good morning!
Not much on my agenda today except for some chores and some relaxing.
I've started to get nighttime nausea...bummer. It makes it hard to eat, even though I need to eat. So I woke up completely starving at 5:30am, had some peanut butter at 8:30, after unsuccessfully trying to sleep through the hunger, and went back to sleep for two more hours. At least I didn't have to get up for work.
