I've been moving my legs every hour for 250 steps. Small Goal today. My head feels better right now. I've given my PowerAde Zero to HSM. That sucrose is NOT good for me. I water it down but still---NOT good for my body!!!

Water softener guy is scheduled from now until 2:00pm today. Fingers crossed.

My spot for a/c is Tuesday 7:00 pm. GGgggrrrr!!! HSM works night from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. I'll probably sleep in the blue room and use the window a/c or go to rec room in basement. But, the fans to dry out the concrete, etc. would give me a headache.

Baby steps and endurance. My house is paid and it costs less to live here, save real estate taxes, house/appliance repairs, new roof projection, than to purchase a condo and pay all the monthly fees, etc. As long as I have a HSM -- living in this house will remain Manageable. Breathe in . . . breathe out!!! I have many fans---I have ear plugs --- I have survived many situations and I can keep planning and figuring out solutions to challenges. Breathe in . . breathe out. Once the water softener is fixed (or replaced) I am going to lay down. I really appreciate the feel of the new mattress pad to my bed. It is heavenly!!! Hugs to All!!

Threw some chicken breasts in the oven for lunch- a mix of sesame oil, ginger and soy sauce, hoping for an asian flare!

My brain is not functioning today so I am just going to keep moving forward. Luckily work is keeping me busy

I have so much cleaning to do. My daughter left a crap ton of stuff in the room she "moved out of" so I told her I will determine what stays/goes now.

Looking to junk or sell our van- it barely made it to their place.

Dinner will be a tomahawk steak we will share with a nice salad. Our first full day as empty nesters, we deserve it!

Exercise, off to see my older client (and to hang a bulletin board I bought for him where he and his helpers can all see it...), and then home to do some fast work before heading to the PT job.

I've got to get a chunk of pork in the crockpot too.

And do the laundry I did not do yesterday.

A sunny Monday here!

I really didn't accomplish a whole lot this weekend, but DH did. He's almost finished with hanging a gutter on a teeny little roof edge that should have had a gutter decades ago. Don't know why it never did.

He's got it rigged right now to flow out into the yard, but eventually, as we get the patio laid, there will be a lovely rain barrel there. Can't wait to get started on the whole project!

DH has one more vacation day today, so after he finishes up the gutter we'll head to town to visit the National Aviary. I haven't been there since the kids were little, and I don't think he's EVER been there. Should be a lovely day!

The last two days were like that here MAW. Cool and rainy and we actually got about 4/10 of an inch. Took advantage of the moisture and did some weed clean up this morning, but not as much as I would have liked. Do not want my hands to start screaming at me again.

Mom--congrats on the promotion, and not to worry, because you will be great.

Laundry today, dog classes tomorrow, grocery run on Wednesday and chiropractor on Thursday. Bedroom stuff delivered all week. Will launder bedding and put stuff together, but will have to wait on the mattress--supposed to be delivered in 9-18 days from ordering. I guess that means next week at the earliest. Can you tell I am expecting a LOT from this mattress?

Make the most of your day--and enjoy it!

Chilly and gloomy today. Or at least at the moment. High of 77, so it will get warmer later, but with rain and thunder and lightning. Poor Russell. I feel like I should be baking something - something low carb, of course, like a quiche or casserole or something! - to take advantage of the cool.

I'll take Mom to PT at 11:30, which works well for me since I'm doing a 24 hour water fast. That is, I ate last night and won't eat again until supper tonight. So not being home at lunch time isn't a problem. I'm very much a "clock eater" and I expect to have my meals on time, whether I'm hungry or not.

Hope you all have a great day.
