That's not a bad two day haul for a craft fair--way to go. You will have to post a picture of your husband's work.

Another day at the Craft Fair for me. Thank goodness today was not as hot as yesterday.

Packing up everything was a real pain - but so is setting up. All part of the job! I'm thinking we made about $500 for the 2 days.

Hello Team & Sunday!!! It tickles me that there are Hump Days for different schedules than 'normal'. YYYiiiippppeeeee!!!!

I had the day with my oldest son and his son, wives, step children, and my little Great granddaughter outside in the heat for the fireman's parade and picnic. It was HOT!!! I took a fan, & an umbrella and lots of COLD water. I enjoyed 5 bottles of water to keep hydrated. The walk to the park for grilled chicken was longer than I wanted. There was no shade on the walk until arrival at the park!!!!

I'm home now. My a/c is working ---- YYiiippppeeeee!!!! My grandson's a/c stopped working and my fan kept us cooled by moving the air. Whewwwww!!! I stripped out of my sweaty clothes and put on a silky cool material dress.

I have a crown redone tomorrow morning ----UGH!!!! I'm setting my stamina and will just git er done.

Hugs to all!!!! Life is Good!!

Hugs to Surround Us All as a Group! Connie, in WI
The pleasant thought for me today is LUCKY.

Nay, hope your techs are smart and catch on quick...

I got up early but gave myself permission for a slow start. I needed it.

But I kicked into gear and got all my batch cooking done and it just hit noon here. It's a lot warmer outside than it has been, so I want to be done early. Laundry is up next.

I slept late but actually got busy pretty much right out of the gate. I finally got the AC set up in the living room to try to cool down the first floor. It's been so hot that the cool air from the bedrooms is not flowing down the stairs as usual. I guess I should be surprised that I don't have thunderstorms happening on the landing, where the cold front meets the warm front!

I'm also researching teleprompter apps for my phone. My women's political group is setting up an Instagram account, and most of the videos we will do will be heavily scripted. Trying to do it dirt cheap! I think I found one, gonna try it out later.

Kyle's home from camp. He was in the shower when I got back from shopping with my mom yesterday, and by the time I went upstairs he had crashed and was dead to the world. He slept from about 4:30pm yesterday to around 9am today, lol! The teens at camp get to stay up all night on their last night, so the boys always drag home and fall over. Not to mention how hot and miserable it must have been there this last week! At least the camp is down in a lovely valley next to the Allegheny River. It tends to be a little cooler there than here.

Happy Sunday, all!

Nay you beat MAW by one minute!

Hot and humid--well, for the desert it is humid. I had a guest at my bed and breakfast who stayed with me often. She was from Louisiana. She would always laugh at me when I complained during July and August that it was humid. She bought land and built a home here about five years ago. I told her she would find it humid during the monsoons after 2-3 years. And she does--it's all relative!

Laundry today, game night with the GD at a friend's house (same friend as above), and some simple housecleaning. Other than that, hoping for rain and trying to stay cool.

Enjoyed having our friends from Missouri stay with us this weekend. I indulged a little but am back on track today. They headed back this morning.

I took 2 recipes and made some LC modifications, combined them and created a new LC dessert. It's basically a mascarpone/HWC base with a topping of blueberries cooked into a sauce and thickened with unflavored gelatin. Hoping it turns out.

Sunday dinner with the family as usual after church, we're just grilling today so not a lot of prep that I had to do. DD and her husband are coming, haven't seen them for a few weeks so that will be good. And the weather is still delightfully cool, mid-70's again today. After the last week I'm so grateful for it!! Planning on reading my book this afternoon on the deck.
