Interesting theories, everyone.

Haha "sweet dreams" indeed. :)

I don't think she's betraying her values. Sometimes we pick up on funny things in our dream state. But I do think when we are aware of what we want we can control of our dreams, to some degree. I like the previous suggestion of telling yourself your intentions (and even telling yourself you will NOT dream about eating meat) before going to sleep.

What I get from this is that it is a dream of betraying your values. Might you be betraying your values in some other area? The meat could be symbolic of something else.

That's not uncommon at all--especially for people who have recently adopted a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. I used to have similar nightmares--and it was only after talking to other vegetarians that I found out it was fairly common.

As you become more committed to your lifestyle change, your body and brain will realize this IS permanent and the nightmares will go away.

LOL yeah, where I got this from was from a Dr. Phil show. hehe. Hope it works for you. I hate having the dreams of my ex. And this actually made them stop. Are you having them because of the holidays and you are visiting family and friends and afraid of what they will cooking?

Just before you go to sleep, just say, I don't eat meat, I will never eat meat, and you just have to get over it. See what happens when you do that. I use to have dreams about my ex, and I would say certain things just before I went to sleep, and I didn't get the dreams about him.

I've had at least a dozen dreams in the last two months that I've eaten meat by accident, and realized afterward that there was meat in whatever I ate.

These dreams are more like nightmares, actually, and I get so upset in the dreams.

Any Jungian folks out there? I need some help to figure this out! I'm sick of these dreams! They really throw me off when I wake up!
