It's been a few months since I started this post. I love Boca and Morningstar nuggets in it. Gardein products like the tenders, porkless bites, and the sausages. I still haven't tried vegetables in it, lol. I really need to try them.
I did try using Pillsbury crescent rolls wrapped over an Oreo, topped with powdered sugar. It tasted so much like a deep fried Oreo from a fair/festival.

Nightglow, did you ever get your an air fryer, or did you go with the Vitamix?

I looove my air fryer. It's great for making fries of very water-dense veggies without a lot of prep. Can't see myself getting a vitamix. I already have a blender and I really prefer to eat my food rather than drink it... there's something about chewing that seems to help with satiety much more than simply swallowing.

I have a very powerful juicer on either side of my tongue, but if you like to drink your veggies... emoticon emoticon

Aren't Vitamixers way more expensive than Air Fryers? Though you would be able to use it for decades, I would think.

I'm so close to putting an air fryer on my holiday wish list.

What do you think, team? Air fryer or Vitamix?

I don't have an air fryer but I know I made cauliflowings once and they weren't bad. I have a turbo oven. But I have a feeling the air fryer would have made them more crispy. Hmm, I HAVE some cauliflower right now...

I was in Ollie's just before I went on my last NJ trip and got a really good deal on an air fryer. Now that I'm back I'm going to try it out with falafel this weekend, and maybe samosas too.

Good to see you!

I've heard amazing tales of "fried" mushrooms, cauliflower and zucchini but have never tried. Please be our scientist and report back!

What are your favorite meat subs in the air fryer, and has it been a worthwhile purchase?

I LOOOOOOVE my air fryer. It helps me stay away from deep fried fries. I pop a potato in the microwave and when it cools off a little i cut it up into wedges, toss it in some seasonings and put them in the air fryer to crisp them up. It satisfies my fry craving.

I have tried to make crispy tofu in there but I don't have the timing right yet.

Absolutely love it. Veggies are great in the air fryer.

I recently got an air fryer. I've tried some meat substitutes in it and love those. I want to try roasting vegetables but wondered if anyone else does it.
