My favorites are my vegetable cleaver and my Mouli, a device I cannot find anymore and which I would love to replace, as the blades are old and a bit corroded. I will research some of these things after I get back from Mexico. I got a pretty fancy spiralizer but don't use it as much as I thought I might.

I have a fantasy about having an immersion blender, though I usually like food I can chew.

Food processor and bread maker.

Bread maker is mainly because I'm lazy :) Though my counters are very cold and I find that the bread maker seems to have much better success in combining the ingredients smoothly which helps it rise... I don't use it for cooking much, just dough creation.

As for the food processor, I do so many things there. It's great when I have a ton of vegetables to chop, or when things need to be minced. I make pie crusts in it (frozen butter handled much better by blades than my hands) and I do a lot with bean purees and burgers since it's great for combining ingredients smoothly.

My knives and cutting boards are my favorites because I use them all the time. Maybe these are not gadgets????

I have so many fabulous kitchen gadgets! One of my favorites is my herb scissors. They make chiffonading so easy!

The Oxo julienne peeler looks great.
I have one vertically oriented and it’s a mess.

The new handiest kitchen item I've seen/bought is a hand pull chopper. I have seen two brands in action: Kuhn Rikon Swiss Pull Chop and Crank Chop. They make chopping/dicing very quick and easy. We used one to batch make a pasta salad for a luncheon that needed onion and carrots, and the women I was with wanted to get one immediately! In fact I let one take mine to use preparing their church dinner the next week. It did not work for green peppers, though, as they must have too high a water content.

My new favorite. Less than $10 and I won’t need a bulky spiralizer.
