That's been my problem lately. I restart and then I find myself restarting again. Don't know why I can get back into routine. I see these people on TV that I can tell do the exercises. I can see the muscles over their cheek bones. It's a good look. You'd think that would spur me on. I'll get there!

I started challenge last month and was first time I'd stuck to exercising face for any consistent time. I was surprised to notice (hopefully it was real) change so quick. I'm not sure why I got lazy but also noticed (and it was real) how it didn't "stay in place". Hopefully I can keep it up this month.

I was just surprised at how quick I thought I saw change.

What spurred me on to restarting my facial exercising is that my husband suggested that I look into purchasing some 'magic cream' for wrinkle control. Although there may be some good cream out there, a lot of them are gimmicks. His saying that made me look at the mirror closely and my wrinkles are really doing their thing... Not good. Therefore everyone, I AM BACK!!!

I haven't tried the anise seeds yet. I guess one reason would be the directions for use. Call me dumb but when they say wash your face with it does it only take one glass of the anise water? Do I soak a washcloth with it, do I use a facial cleanser soap or what? I am the type of person that evidently needs step by step explicit instructions.

It's muscles so, yes, best to give them a couple days a week to rest. Even cardio shouldn't be every day or you risk an injury.

Are there different exercises for men and women? I found a man on YouTube, I like the way he explains things. The first video I knew they exercises already so did them (though they totally made sense and I feel it now). I can't imagine it would but thought I'd ask.

emoticon Always best to not worry about past lapses. We all have them. Just get back up to speed as quickly as possible. I like to do the Lion exercise because it does both my face and my hands, which have a bit of arthritis, but I do my other exercises in front of the computer or while making my bed and sometimes forget to do the Lion because I have to stop whatever else I'm doing to do it. So I'm trying to make it a habit to do the Lion every day when I brush my teeth. (I do it standing with my hands up beside my face, not kneeling)

I have begun 2016 with good attendance so far -- almost every day I have exercised and massaged my face. Although it will take a little more time to see a difference, my jowls are not as pronounced anymore. It HAS to continue despite a heavy schedule.

I read articles, attend web casts, and often get ebooks and audiobooks from the library and do the exercises while I read or listen. I do sometimes do easy things like squint or smile/frown while I'm typing.

I don't know the names for the exercises I do. Most of them are from previous challenges on this team. I do have a book of yoga face exercises that I found used on Amazon for a dollar and I'm trying some of those but they are much more complicated and I can't do most of them sitting in front of the computer so they don't get done as often. ;-) Every once in a while I scour YouTube for something different but I seldom find much.

It works better for me also as I have some exercises on my tablet and do them while watching TV. It's not always possible when I'm in front of my computer as I have so many messages to respond to.

For June 2015, I have repeated the same challenge as in May -- your choice of exercises. What I have found over time is that some people do enjoy what I put down and some don't! Therefore, it is best that everyone do what they feel they need to do. I really have to get my exercises going again. Too busy of late...

I looked at the article and I say a big YES! It does work. My oldest daughter was asking me when we were on Facetime how I am managing to have such a smooth neck because the last time I saw her, it was not as it is now. I showed her a few movements. Exercising one's face works, now it's only for me to remember to do mine on a daily basis. I am massaging regularly, but I've been a tad busy to do my facial exercises. Not good!

I haven't done any face exercises for the last couple of months, and I can really tell the difference around my eyes. I suffer from bags and dark circles and they are really prominent again. Looking forward to getting back to it, and hopefully seeing an improvement again x

I have a prescription. It works 1/2 day and not full day.

Next Month, I am doing my facial exercises. There is a huge difference between the exercise look and the non exercise look.

I hear you!! It's not easy taking care of a patient who is still recuperating. My prayers are with you both.

DH had a quadruplet bypass. He came out or operation confused. He tore his breathing apparatus out of him. Then a week later he snipped his way through IV tubes. Now today they are talking about sending him home. I am not ready for this. I was told he wouldn't be ready for another week from now and have been gearing myself for that. But I believe that I can have DH stay in hospital until Saturday this week. Tomorrow I have a medical appt. I have lost 80% of my hearing in left ear and about 60% in my right ear. So they can't force me to stay home or leave DH at home by himself. Thursday is payday, they are telling DH not to lift more than a quart of milk = that means shopping. Homecare mentioned that DH needs a bath seat and bath matt for them to take care of that = more shopping. So this is a bit upsetting all of a sudden he is coming home!

DH has too much blockage in 3 veins [major veins to heart] to be released from hospital he is at Grace Hospital . As soon as a bed and surgeon in available in St. B. Hospital, DH will have bypass surgery. ASAP.

Glad to hear from you my dear. It is best for him to be hospitalized when one suspects heart problems. Once the tests are done, at least one will know what to do. You are both in my prayers. emoticon

DH went to see Cardiologist Thursday last week. He was admitted into hospital right after appt. He will be in hospital until some tests have been done. They will go from there what to do. The machinery is backed up with patients waiting. So hopefully he isn't in for long time just waiting for the tests to be done. It would be nice to have whatever needs to be done as soon as possible. Computer too needs to go back to the doctor. Glad I have 3 yr warrantee on this machine. HB hasn't been my best machine.

So far like them. But, wow, does my face get sore, especially after the first time in awhile. Like the cheek bones...ow! When you lean your head back on the one for the neck, I don't like to do that for too long...afraid. I had a friend who was star gazing once and kept his neck back too long and wasn't that long either and passed out...had a mini stroke. Maybe he had heart problems. But, I know that I start feeling a bit dizzy if I do.
I appreciate all the links to them. Quite a few out there on Youtube. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

DH is home. He has meds for Angina. He seems to be doing better now. Will be seeing a cardiologist soon.
