Nadine, As far as I know, downloading the videos is not an option at this time. There is a SparkPeople dvd that you can purchase that has similar workouts on it. Also, some of the videos have printable versions. You could also print off the instructions and do the workouts where you have more space.

Ok so my problem is tracking the videos. I see where the bottom of the page says add, and so when i click there it ask if i want to add it to other exercises or completely change it. I have tried it both ways it keeps taking me to my fitness page but its not adding the exercise. Is anyone else having this problem?

I was wonder if anybody knows if you can down load the videos onto a DVD CD?, and if so, how? I would like a little more room to workout since there is not much room in front of my computer.

after I finish a video I scroll down to the bottom to add to my fitness tracker but it never shows up on my tracker. Only on day 1 was I able to add the video to my tracker but ever since then it doesn't show up. any ideas?

POLKADOTREVIVAL, On the team page look for the Challenge Details box. Click on the "Complete Week 1 Action Steps" link and you will be taken to an exact copy of the weekly e-mail. All the info you need is there as well as a link to the videos for this bootcamp. Hope that helps!

Spark isn't blocked, just the videos. There isn't even a box, just a blank space where the box and the video ought to be. I'll see about the printable version, and I'll give the Youtube option a try at home tonight. Thanks.

HISARTIST I'm not sure about downloading. Is youtube blocked at your office because they are all on there as well? Some of them have printable versions, and you'll be able to find that link right underneath the box where the video would play. You can also substitute videos that do have printable versions, but try and choose ones that work the same body part.

I learned about SparkPeople by my last company and they promoted it as part of their wellness program. Maybe you could share the spark with your HR person and then they would take the block off!

NJJAZZ Not sure which one you are referencing when you say toning. I am on day 3 and there is a button on the bottom of the page that says add to fitness tracker. You have to scroll down to see it. Are you on a different day?

the toning video is not in the cardio section .... plus I think its strength training anyway. Is there a way to save the video in strength training? I cant seem to figure that out.

CJAYSMOM, It's okay to do the video you accidentally missed tomorrow. The only thing you want to make sure is that you aren't working the same muscle group two days in a row. For example if you do an upper body workout one day you want to make sure that the next day you're doing a lower body workout or your core.

The "2 sets, 12-15 reps" is just the default setting that SparkPeople uses it doesn't mean you have to do the video twice. Hope that makes sense!

I don't know what I was thinking, but I counted my days wrong and I did the video for Day 4 (Pilates) today instead of the Day 3 video (something about Lunges and Glutes). Will this be okay? I can just do the other video tomorrow that I should have done today, right? Does it matter what order we do the videos in or does it just matter that we do them? ...As long as I am asking questions, the videos all say 2 reps after I track them in the tracking area. Do we have to do the videos twice? Thanks for understanding my frazzled brain today :)

For all those who are having trouble viewing the videos here is some advice from one of the spark coaches:

You may want to see if they have updated to the latest web browser (firefox just released 4.0 recently) and that they have the newest version of Flash--they can go to www.adobe.com to download the newest version of Flash and see if that helps. Also, a few members reporting a problem viewing videos because of an ad blocker issue. If they have the latest Flash player and it is not a Flash issue, it is probably an ad blocker they can disable when on sparkpeople.com.

Quick question: when you do the stretch videos do you track the minutes? I startet to add them to my quick tracker for fitness but realized that stretching is not necessarily exercise...

Michleary- I did not know that about spinach and avocado- I love them both so that is really good to know!

It looks like the second week is the same as the first, you just add in one extra video (I think just one day) and then track food for at least 3 days.

I eat alot of fresh baby spinach, and avodcado together in salad, wraps, and in omelettes. The combination of the healthy fat in avocado helps you digest more of the fat soluble vitamins in the spinach. Both are good sources of potassium.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will get some potassium supplements, since I can't eat bananas and a bath with Epsom salts sounds really good right now=)
I am really enjoying this challenge, it is easy to do and I have a lot more energy and I am starting to feel a lot better about myself.

I just finished level 1 of Jillian's 30-Day Shred, and I'm not certain how to add it to my cardio for the day! Is it low impact aerobics, or high impact? Or something else entirely?

BeachBumMama- I am not a doctor, but I know that for me it also helps to take potassium. I have been eating bananas every day to help and taking potassium supplements on the days I think I will be extra sore.
I dont have a bathtub...unfortunately because I could really use one today!!!
I will also make sure that after my workout today (hopefully I will be able to get through it) I will stretch more than I have been.

BEACHBUMMAMA, Yes it's normal to be sore when you're starting a new exercise program. It will probably take about a week for your muscles to get used to the new routine and then you won't be so sore anymore. In the meantime, a bath with epson salts would help your legs feel better.

Is it normal, or okay to be this sore? I have been doing 30 minutes (including the 10 SP video) plus walking 2 miles. The other 20 minutes my workout it upper body, I have a trip with my husband in 3 weeks so I am working a little harder to be bikini ready for that. Now my legs are so sore that I can't walk down the 3 stairs to get out of my house... Is that okay or should I slow down a little?
