Thank you....Willam, Bridie and Val....for a good morning chuckle.

And really, some some kudos should go to Pops....those raving rants dispel any notion of rational, honest debate. If I ever slip into complacency, I'll just think of your posts and think of "noodle salad".

Well bless your little 'ol heart, Pops.! Why would you think a little 'ol southern gal like me would be prejudice of anything from The South?

Pops, this is the first time you've posted in The Soapbox in ages. You've never had anything good to say about the Obama Administration and you choose to post the night of the SOTU address?

If you have a problem with the legalities of this Administration you need to contact your representatives and ask them why they aren't doing more to throw the bum in jail. If they aren't doing their job then maybe they should be brought up on charges of treason.

Claiming that the Articles of Impeachment are too difficult is just an excuse conservatives throw up because they know if they had changed them while they were in control of all of the branches their lord and saviors Reagan and Bush would have been thrown under the bus.

Can't have it both ways.

Maybe, if republicans hadn’t blocked any and every thing Obama tried to do, he would not have to reach for more effective ways of getting things done.
If Bush was not prosecuted for lying and taking the country to a war where thousands died, I do not see how Obama could be prosecuted either.
A house or senate with a Republican majority? D ream on.
Obama’s approval rate are average with all the presidents past on the same time of their second term.
Popeye, Conservativesa are frustrated, desperate and getting delirious. You are not far from there.
Penny, thanks, I love data….

Could we sound the game show BUZZER?

From the Federal Archives...the number of executive orders issues by President Obama and the previous four presidents:

Administration of Barack Obama (2009-Present) - 167 Total Executive orders Issued

Administration of George W. Bush (2001-2009) - 291 Total Executive orders Issued

Administration of William J. Clinton (1993-2001) - 364 Total Executive Orders Issued

Administration of George Bush (1989-1993) - 166 Total Executive Orders Issued

Administration of Ronald Reagan (1981-1989) - 381 Total Executive Orders Issued

WOW! REAGAN "WINS" BY A LONG SHOT with 381 executive orders in two terms! President Obama, one year into his second term, just passed the number that Bush the elder issued in his one term and needs over 100 executive orders to surpass Bush the younger's 291 in two terms. Clinton trails behind Reagan with 364 executive orders in two terms.

Does that make Reagan a dictator or king, too?

Obama has trampled over the Constitution via his illegal use "Presidential Privilege" over 40 times.

The ONLY reason he hasn't been brought up on charges to this point is that the Articles of Impeachment have zero chance of being prosecuted in the Democrat controlled Senate.

You can charge him, but as the lock-step Democrats under Harry Reid are afraid of being knifed in the back, they will vote the Party line - regardless of their personal beliefs about the guilt or "innocence" of President Obama, but if you can't convict him, all you've done is put the taxpayers deeper in debt.

4EVRYOUNG, that's OK about not reading something so you can have a negative response. I bet if you hear a southern or western accent, you close your ears. Knowing the person who posts is Conservative gives you an immediate excuse for not using your eyes.

In the case of the three monkey's, you would only have the ability to speak, regardless of the input you have a logical reason to throw up your arms and claim ignorance of anything.

I'll qualify the following statement with "I didn't read the rant."

Obama can only do what the Constitution and the law allows a President to do. If someone believes his acts to be treasonous I'm sure "someone" will do something to stop him.

Hell, I'm sure even if he's acted legally "someone" will waste tax-payer dollars trying to stop him.

"So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that's what I'm going to do."

Following up on his latest pattern of doing things by writ and decree, President Obama's latest threat.

Basically, it boils down to, "I don't care What the Constitution says, if I don't get my way I'll just proclaim myself King (or closer, Der Fuhrer)".

Our Forefathers knew exactly what they were doing when they gave the three branches of our government different responsibilities. The Congress was to make laws, the President was to enforce those laws, and the Supreme Court was to judge if laws made by Congress were in line with the Constitution.

It looks as if the President is going to try and ratchet up his pressure on the Republican House to levels not even the Founders of our country could logically conceive.

It appears as if the preliminary polls are not giving President the signals he hoped for and the Republican House may wind up even more Republican after this years elections. It's looking as if the Democratic House may lose seats to Republicans, maybe to the extent that Republicans would be in the majority.

If those things happen, President Obama could very well face Impeachment charges because he already has more than enough impeachable offenses. With a Republican controlled Senate, a vote in the Senate will no longer be a slam dunk for Democrats, especially the Blue-Dog Democrats who are already seeking to distance themselves from ObamaCare or as it is now being called, PC, The National Affordable Health Care Act. Too bad it is proving to NOT be affordable at all - particularly for the 40 million who had no insurance before Obama made a promise with his mouth that his wallet couldn't support.

National Health Care is a great idea, if we could afford to pay for it. It was a pipe-dream when the Administration re-made RomneyCare into a National Democrat version, it has shown itself to be a pipe-dream now (the young, healthy people that were expected to provide the base have been conspicuous in their failure to sign up for this), and every day this goes on it becomes more and more of an irritant to the body of Americans.

Obama is attempting to bully "his" socialist version on the American people, and his approval rating is at its lowest point and still dropping.

The left wing lunatics appear to be crowding closer and closer to the Atlantic shoreline.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an attempt to display why the Homeland Security and TSA have ordered and received 1.6 Billion rounds of ammunition (they are allegedly for "practice" and qualification reasons, but 1.6 billion rounds would be enough to pay for "practice" and qualification for every branch of the United States government, minus the military, for almost 20 years). On top of that, the U.S. Postal Department has recently taken delivery of almost a million rounds for their armed Postal Inspectors. Are they planning on following each Postal Delivery Person around on their routes and screening everyone's mail for suspicious linings?
