Yeah, I read in the paper about Chick-fil-A, but also walmart, walgreens and many others. What Popeye? Do you think Chick-fil-A deserved a medal? Oh right! that is why Conservatives do "charity", for the publicity. Sorry they did not get as much as they thought they deserved.

Even social media got involved...a Facebook group "Snowed Out Atlanta" helped to connect the stranded with local residents that were offering water, food and shelter:

Poor Chick-Fil-A can't do a good deed without all these other do-gooders horning in on their attention.

REALLY???

Reuters reports on Chick-Fil-A AND many other businesses such as Home Depot, Kroger, Publix, Target, CVS and RaceTrac that opened their doors, bathrooms and their hearts to help stranded motorists during this winter's weather events.

MANY businesses, small and large, along with churches and municiple facilities opened their doors...as did many private citizens.

When I look through the many reports on the storm situation, what I see is....as Val pointed out....is the devastating effects of the weather. The human interest stories are usually covered locally. At any rate, I don't think that the Chick-Fil- A owner deserves any more credit than anyone else who went above and beyond to help stranded motorists.

Nit-picking at best(worst?)

Pops, the media report all of the time about good deeds by conservatives and liberals. It was a great thing this guy did but I'm sure the media was busy reporting on "the weather!"

Oh and this was one guy who is an independent owner of Chik-Fil-A ;while the anti-gay sentiment was by the CEO over "all' Chik-Fil-A's. Apples and oranges.

Let's turn this around and ask why sites like "Godfather..," "Breitbart," "Rush," and "Fox" only report the negative things about Liberals?

Again, I point out you can't have it both ways.

If you think the link has electronic cooties, just Google the story.

It was reported on FoxNews, but not ABC, CBS, nor NBC television news. Nor was it reported on any radio outlet affiliated with any of the MSM. It was on Breitbart and Rush, but not elsewhere. Huffpo didn't say anything at all (Surprise, Surprise!). None of the MSM newspapers said a peep (yeah, I wrote it that way on purpose). Zip on the web and nothing in print from USA Today.

The MSM DID do a short snippet on some truck drivers in Atlanta who shared what they had in their cabs with the few people they could.

The owner of this Chick-fil-a gave everything away and would accept no money for his generosity. He and his employees kept his restaurant open all night and took hot food to people stuck in the traffic jam, walking up and down both sides of the highway in both directions. He opened up his restaurant as a place for drivers and passengers to get warm and use the restroom and for some to sleep in the seats where it was warm. At dawn of the new day, they started serving hot coffee and their breakfast sandwich - all free.

How can I not continue to believe "If it ain't slamming Christianity - it ain't news"?

Oh, wait a minute. The New York Post did do an article. Oh, snap. The NY Post isn't considered a part of the MSM.

Liberals talk of their love for the people, their inclusiveness. Almost all of it pure B.S. From what I've seen, they are the real baiters and haters. They support the illegal occupation of parks de facto and the sexual assaults therein de jure, the illegal blocking of streets and the illegal thuggery involved in that sort of action. All I can see there is hate - mixed in with a lot of laziness.

I seriously doubt I'll get a response. I'm most likely preaching to the conservative choir.
