Hello to all of you superb Sparkpeople members. The new year is here.

I have been keeping myself occupied with work and side hustles. When I wake up it is dark outside. When I go to bed it is dark outside. When is the time change ever going to get here?

Instead of drinking my favorite diet lemon iced tea in my sports water bottle, I made a pitcher of unsweetened black iced tea. Tastes good for a change.

I may be quitting Sparkpeople. In 2015, I began Sparkpeople and weighed 170. It is now 2019 and I still weigh 170 pounds. I think I need to pursue different avenues. If you really want me to stay, tell me. If not, I really may have to go.

Have a good weekend.

you rock MLOGAL! Keep it up! I participate in some online challenges and my FitBit challenges so it's hard to be everywhere and I tend to let something drop. I do pop in here from time to time and thank you for being an awesome leader and motivator!

-sparkfully,
Cherie

HELLO Petites!!

Yup, been missing....AGAIN! Well, I live in a Cleveland suburb and the CAVS have been a time bandit. Plus I follow the Indians as well...AND I work in the Ad Industry -

PACWOMAN - understanding our Metabolism is a challenge. It changes and I swear it follows the seasons sometimes?

Tried to check out your SparkPage with no luck. All I can say is that back in 2005 I started wearing a Pedometer....yup, you know the item - place on your belt loop and it recorded steps - of course there were those times when I put my seat belt on and erased all the data!

Loved having a sidekick that monitored my actions - and now? I'm on FITBIT #3 now and it cheers me on with fireworks and prompts to finish my steps for the hour.

I'll be back tomorrow to check in with everyone.~mellowgal

Welcome to The Motivation Station – Ninety-eight point six on your AM radio dial! 98.6

I mean who wouldn’t jump in for inspiration and support when engaging in a weight management program?

At Petite Place we had a popular thread called – Getting Serious – and I belong to an on line motivational group called. “This Time I Mean It!”

Why is it so hard to change habits?

It is understandable why it’s hard to form a habit we don’t enjoy, but why is it so hard to form a habit we do enjoy?

Do the same strategies work for changing a simple habit like wearing a seat belt?

Why do 1/3 of US patients NOT take medicine prescribed for a chronic illness?

One motivational speaker helped me with my Sales process. He said, “Change one little thing.” I did and it improved my system more than I thought it would.

Sorry to say that 98.5 AM is a rock station in Cleveland – so you will have to look somewhere else for your motivation…hopefully Sparkpeople can help!

"They say that motivation doesn't last ---But neither does bathing so that is why we recommend it daily."~Zig Ziglar
