Hi ANNEGG. Way to go! Nice to see that you are still sticking with it, Nicky. I'm down to 214.2 this week. That's down 3.6 lbs. this week despite my husband being home and eating heavier meals! emoticon I just remembered to keep filing up on lots of fresh veggies, instead of the heavier stuff. Thanks to all of you for sticking with this weigh-in. It's really helping me to keep on track! emoticon

well done, ANDIOTT and BEAUTY!
I was back to 60 this morning, largely because I indulged last night. Made cream of tomato soup and roasted a chicken with potatoes and indulged in both. I didn't need the soup with the chicken!!

MAGGIE, facing your problem and diagnosing the probable cause are important steps toward solving it. Stick with it! We are here to encourage one another, not to condemn.

55.3 this week, .2 down from mynusual weight last week, and the day after a binge, albeit minor. Which all goes, to show that the scales are an indicator but not to be taken too seriously! I was over 56 yesterday. I take note of all this, but only record it onc a week...

Two weeks since I my last post, and the news is not good. About 3 weeks ago, I ate a different sort of bread and it triggered my carb cravings. I had been doing so well, then suddenly it was like aliens moved in and, totally against my will, I was right back to a major, prolonged carb binge.
The result is I'm 6 pounds up on this weigh-in.
I'm really struggling to recover and step away from the carbs that trigger cravings.
I really don't want to lose any more ground; it felt so good to have lost 20 lbs and even dip into the 100's.
So, come on will power! Let's make this week count (backwards)!

I've been putting this off for too long, but here goes. 220.0 pounds this week. Up .6 from last week. But, I met with a dietician and got some new goals, and coping strategies, so here's hoping that next week will be better! emoticon

Well I had wanted to be in the 150's today but my TOM had other plans.....

This morning I weighed 161.8lbs - up 0.6lbs from last Tuesday......uggg!!!

On the plus side however, I did not veer off plan or give in to any of the temptations of the week.....so I am counting this as a success!!!

Had a gain of 5 pds over two weeks. Last night I was down 3.6 pds trying to get that off so I know I am back on track. I did the yo yo thing for two long and now am trying hard to keep it going down every week.

TRANQUILBEAUTY and BLUECAFE, congratulations!
I am up another 700 grams, but have only one more calorific week before I return to normal!
Havent been getting out of the house much this week as had workmen in 3 days, and have been low on steps.
My aim is not to go more than 1 kilo above goal weight, and I am now 1.3 kilos over. I am goingnto see if I can remedy that. Maintenance is a challenge, but its good to be there!

Well today is my two week weight in and I am pretty please with the results!!

I am down another 3.4lbs this week - bringing my two week total to 10.6lbs!!!
And I have lost 6 inches too!!!

Well, it was a short trip into the 100's. Scales sang out a clear 200 this morning.
Had gone on a bit of a carb binge, but recovered now and determined to keep going.
No more sourdough bread for me! (it brought on carb cravings)
Goal for this week: emoticon drink more water.

Only one day late this week. Went to my doctor's visit on Wed. 221.3 up 2 more pounds! Going to keep a better rein on my appetite, work out better (trying HIIT this week) and see a nutritionist to get some professional help! emoticon

I belong to TOPS as well as Spark People and we skipped the Monday night meeting after Easter so two weeks between weighins :( I backslide so am starting off this week with closer nutrition counts, and tracking. I had lost 19 and 1/2 pds , but now gained 5 back so back to tighter control this week and hope to get the 5 I gained over two weeks off again ;) Never give up is my motto now emoticon

55.5. Up 1/2 kilo. Should have a new and more trustworthy scales tomorrow night. Hope I shant get a nasty surprise! I have to tap my present scales till it says O. It has served me well, but I dont entirely trust it. Also its not digital, so I have to guess what percentage of a kilo..

So, it has taken me a few days to get up the courage to admit this. I let myself down this week. 218.2 pounds, up 2.2 pounds from last week. I feel like I let myself down. I really wanted to post another loss this week, especially since I have a doctor's appointment on Friday next. Having to take antibiotics to prevent infection from a puncture wound really affected my appetite! emoticon

I am still 197. I was super distracted this week. And not losing weight really does take the wind out of your sails. its funny how when I don't lose weight I want to eat a WHOLE chocolate cake. That wont help! Hopefully this week I will refocus on what matters most

211.6 gained back 1.6 pds. On steroids, and antibiotic for asthma attack and lungs inflamed because of that. Disappointed I had a gain after weeks of losing, but know I have to fight the hunger that comes from taking steroids till I finish them off :( Back to the drawing board the next two weeks as no TOPS meeting next Monday night. Still tracking food for calorie chart though to keep track or get back on track.

Well done everyone! Both those who are seeing progress and those who are sticking at it without any encouragement from the scales! Scales are an indicator, but are not definitive!

55, goal weight, for 2nd week running. My ideal for this year is not to go above 56, even when away from home. This will be challenging, but better to aim high, or rather low!, and keep moving in right direction. My main aims now are increased fitness, 10k daily steps, and better use of my time. All on hold as I recover from, or try to shake off, a particularly debilitating fluey bug
