MERMAIDSHERBET: And we're glad to have you! Are you new to this group? If so, We started to have a weekly challenge last week which was mindful eating. That means to look at every thing that we eat, every lick of the spoon, every food choice. Thanks for the reminder MOMTO.
I recently changed my strict food plan to suite my needs. I am doing very well on it and the pounds are coming off, slowly, but scale is going down. My official weigh day is Friday.

I didn't weigh myself today. Yesterday I was down to 200. I did an IF 16:8 starting today.

Doing the monthly weigh-in rather than the weekly for the sake of sanity. Scale stayed at the same weight! However, my body fat percentage dropped a little over 2 percent, which translates into a loss of 4.1 lbs of just fat, gains of muscle, and that is something! This keeps me going and doing what I'm doing.

Hello! I'm a 62 year old "sparker" and have actually been with Sparkpeople for 10 years. I haven't been particularly active for quite awhile but a discussion with my health practitioner made me agree to lose 20 lbs by my next appointment (which is July 11). I fully intend to meet that goal. I started at 286 in early April and weighed in at 272.2 this morning. I will post weekly for the weight (hopefully loss).
