I add crans, some raisons & various nuts to my pancakes & they are pretty good without syrup.
A good topping is cooking an apple with truvia & cinnamon & when it's tender top the pancakes. Yum
Or if you love maple syrup use the light version. Mrs Butterworths is really good. Log Cabin.
My other half uses light or sugar free & those are his 2 faves.

i don't have them often, but i use no sugar added jams or marmalade on the top. i also have an extra serving of raw fruit (berries, melon) to help add more fiber.

I still love pancakes and don't mind them once in a while. However; saying this I would like some options for syrup. I don't like the taste of sugar free syrup. Lite syrup is a help, but I would like your opinion on healthy options for pancake toppings?

Keep in mind I have to use ingredients that I can purchase in a small town grocery store. We are limited to what we use.

I am thinking of pure maple syrup, honey or applesauce with cinnamon. What do you folks use?

My Rewards!

1. When i reach 260 pounds, I'm buying myself a Civil War Book from Amazon.

2. When I reach 250 pounds, I'm rewarding myself with a new outfit.

3. When I reach 235 pounds, I plan on going skydiving. I also plan on shouting for joy in Praise to Jesus no matter where I am at.
