I think there may be some older posts from a few years ago further down in these discussion boards where people talk about the benefits. Some of the original team members talk about the video and book about this eating plan.

I am doing16-8 but it worked for the first 2 weeks another 2 weeks no weight loss but dizzy blood pressure dropping and headaches.
so no trying 5-2

I have only done the 5:2 with some 16:8 days thrown in to it. So I am not a good one to give thoughts on this subject. Sorry. Try it out, see if you have success and like it. I know people who do lose weight with doing 16:8.

Hi!

I am new to this group. I ate the 5:2 plan a couple of summers ago. I have been back to reading about the benefits of intermittent fasting again and came across the 16:8 plan. It seems more doable for me. Any thoughts on how the benefits of each compare would be appreciated!
