as soon as baseball season is over, Iím heading to bed by 9:30 p.m. I do my worst snacking after this.

New goal for 2018: To do cardio 30 minutes per day, five days per week and strength training 20 minutes per day, 2 days per week.

To avoid all heart problems and not get any new major diagnoses. I will exercise by waking my dog often and eat low saturated fat foods.

I recently returned to Sparkpeople...so there is one goal complete

Here are a few of mine

1. Complete the Naturally Thin course for the year. I am in week 5 and I am down 12 pounds so far. It was offered through work, so no out of pocket spent
2. Continuing working toward financial freedom and pay down my debts. I should be able to get through 2 of them this year. Closed 8 debts last year.
3. Create, plant, tend, and harvest my little 4X6 square foot garden.
4. Patch the driveway.
5. Paint the foundation of the house.
6. Re-build the front porch
7. Paint the kitchen and living room (wife demand)
8. Get through my Netflix queue and all of my shows recorded on the DVR

That is all I can think of off the cuff

Well, #1 on my list is to survive another year.

That being said, I have a deal with my cardiologist - if I drop 35 lbs we will stop the argument regarding the management of the likelihood of a stroke. I do not like taking Eliqus, it makes my blood too damn thin. I bleed just walking by a cactus! So that is the goal. I know the plan, been there before. This will be the last time.

At least I am living in a better environment to help make this happen.

OK gents here are a few of mine:

1) Get back to tracking food intake. I got lazy the last few years. My goal is track at least 5x / week (M-->F).
2) Shed a few pounds. See above. I will post the actual goal after my first 2018 weigh-in (scheduled for 01/03/2018).
3) Reduce body fat. I need to check at my Y to see if they actually do body fat measuring. If not I'll need to ask around. As with #2 above, I'll post the goal when I know the starting point.
4) Office reclamation project. I really want to take advantage of the cold winter months when I am not out doing yard work, etc.
5) Run in a new state.
6) Run in a new country. This will be dependent on traveling to a country I have not yet run in.
7) Run a race in a new state.

I'll edit as I have some #'s to work with or come up with a few more new ones.
