I haven't started a probiotic regiment yet, but know that I should. My sister told me about the supplements that are so easily attainable. What is a better one? Any thoughts on that?

I made yogurt cheese spread out of organic full fat plain yogurt.
Seasoned it well and am using it as a spread on my 50 calorie, 3 carb toast.
Yummy!

For probiotics, I use yogurt basically. I use the yogurt because it will assure I have taken my probiotics for the day.

Nine days now.
I either take a probiotic pill or eat organic plain Greek yogurt with probiotics daily.
No positive results yet. Not giving up!

This is wk1/day2 of my joining this team---I have only had intentional probiotic 1 day. I enjoyed the articles, especially to learn about probiotics and which food we can get it from.

Okay so are you all taking a probiotic supplement? I was trying to get it through yogurt and other foods... I am a bit confused on the whole probiotic subject, but know that I feel better when I get the greek yogurt with probiotics.

What is done is done. I will not dwell on it. I will move on and learn from my past. I love myself.

this was on dr oz. any other suggestions would be appreciated

Watch for an asterisk on the packaging. Scamming companies will often claim a certain number of CFUs (Colony Forming Units) on their label, using an asterisk to footnote that this was the number “at the time of manufacture.” Be aware that an amount of probiotics listed “at time of manufacture” doesn’t tell you how many you’ll get when purchased, which can be much lower.
Probiotics that have been shown to work in irritable bowel syndrome, vaginal infections, and antibiotic-related diarrhea typically provide 1 billion or more live organisms per day, although this may vary and be somewhat lower for children.
Keep probiotics in a cool, dry place out of sunlight. If ordered online, request refrigerated shipping.
Of the products tested, AdvoCare’s Probiotic Restore is one that contained the amount of CFUs promised on the label.

the truth will set you free
