Past couple of days I have passed my goal by over 2,000 steps each day.

Today not sure. Did not sleep well, woke up with a sore back and overslept 1/2 hour, but I still pushed it and got a 1 mile walk in this morning before work. Not sure how the rest of the day will go.

I like to do 15,000 - 20,000 but this week I am lucky if I did 10,000. I can't get it together the last 3 days. Have to work on it.

4-5k. Now have to suspend physical activity. Discovered on 6/27 that I have a almost closed rt coronary artery. Scheduled for correction on 7/28. Giving my kidneys a chance to clear from the dye this past Monday. Just another hill to climb. emoticon emoticon

The Vivofit doesn't track when you climb. I have a bench step and in doing 10 minutes (about 250 ups) it may only log 20, if I am lucky.

SP strip out calories (I am told) where your HR doesn't go high enough. I have not found out how SP knows that.

I have found that you need to log (on your fitness tracker) anything that it not steps, bike ride, step-ups or ST. SP does not see them.

Most of this has come from Coach Jen who looked into it for me.

Yesterday went over the goal set by my garmin by 1,317 steps! I did 7,487

Today garmin set the goal at 6,499 and I already have 3,813 in and it's only 7:15 a.m.

I usually put my pedometer in my pocket when I go shopping or am on a fitness machine that hasn't in the past tracked my steps.

It's really variable. If I'm just in my office it ends up being only 4000ish for the day. That said, the Garmin doesn't track when I work out on my TreadClimber. It also doesn't track when I grocery shop. I assume because my hand is stable on the cart. However, if my workout is a walk (4-5 miles) then it's around 12000

I usually use the automatic step goal that Garmin gives me, but there are days I know I can't do it, like a long work day, rainy day or travel day when I'm not going to get out. So, I will lower the step goal to a more realistic goal. Today, my Garmin goal was more than 13,500, but I'm traveling, so I lowered it to 12,000. I think I can get there, but if it looks like I won't I'll reassess. I want to be successful and still challenged with my goals.

I have my garmin set the goal every day and it's usually between 6,000 and 7,000 steps a day. I do a pretty good job at meeting the goal it sets. Weekends are hard I need to be more active. Yesterday I was pretty happy. I did 10,062 steps! Surpassing my goal by over 4,000 steps.

I also saw the doctor for my monthly check up (was in the hospital for 3 days in January with chest pains). I''m down another 3 lbs and he was happy with that. I don't have to go back for 2 months now!

there is a gym with a basketball court in it at work so before work I go and do walking laps around the court for 25 minutes. In February I started out doing 20 minutes 3 times a week and just about doing 1/2 mile each day. Now I'm doing 25 minutes 5 times a week and getting up to 1 1/2 miles a day.

I'm down 15 lbs from January. Baby steps.

I have a sedentary job. I work to average about 12,000 a day. I get what I can during the day and then finish it up after work. On the weekends its pretty easy to get 12-15K a day.

The Vivofit has my goal at a little over 11000 steps. I usually find myself needing to jog in place to get the last 3 or 4 thousand.

I am trying to keep up to 10,000 but it's hard since I work all day at a desk job. At night, I walk around my very small house trying to get in the last 4,000.
