Are you seeing progress on your goals? Please share here!

For my goals, I am doing a little bit better at planning ahead and preparing meals instead of relying on fast food. I have done very well at setting stuff aside for breakfast each morning, and I am pleased with my progress. Still room to grow but every step forward is a step in the right direction, no matter how small it is.

I'm sticking to my goal of no wine during the week. My hubby is joining in with me in this goal. We are drinking more water and juice. I need to get off diet soda, too. That will be next! emoticon

I just realized I didn't post my own goals, lol. So here goes....

Cleaning out....fast food and junk food (with grad school, it has been too easy to fall back on quick, unhealthy choices)

Adding to....menu planning & preparing meal and snack portions earlier in the week so they are ready when I need them

I feel like I'm always starting over....but, I am going to give up drinking wine during the week. I love to come home after work and have a glass before, and a glass with dinner. But, I have decided to limit this to the weekends, Friday and Saturday, and no more than 2-4oz glasses.

I have a bad habit of getting in my pjs as soon as I enter the door after work. I would like to clean up this bad habit, by staying dressed for at least one to two hours after work. Long enough to be a little active and to achieve my goal of spending less time on the couch.

No more binging on almonds. I will count them and know how many calories I am eating.

Thanks for posting this challenge!

I am giving myself the Spring challenge of giving up negative self-talk. It's going to be a BIG challenge for me right now, because negativity is a response to stress for me - you might call it "binge negativity" because once I get going it's hard to stop.

So. Starting tomorrow - the first day of Spring - I will do my best every day to avoid negative self-talk. Wish me luck, as I wish all of you luck in your Spring challenges!

Today (March 20th) is the first day of Spring, and it is a time marked by cleaning out the old and making room for the new. So let's take this time to do the same in our own health journeys. For the next month, I challenge you to purge one unhealthy habit, food, attitude, etc. and to replace it with one new healthy habit, food, attitude, etc.

So what will you choose to remove and, more importantly, to add? Share your goals here, and please encourage one another as we do some Spring cleaning related to our own health journeys!
