Well, I have a hard time working on the ground (I'm pre-op still), so I don't really enjoy gardening, but I love having a garden and having fresh veggies/fruits. On that note, I kill every plant type thing that I get within 10 feet of. lol I've tried plants, seeds, a huge variety of each..I've even killed hostas! From everyone I talked to, they said it's near impossible to kill hostas, but I did it! lol

I need to hire a gardener so I can have the pretty plants and veggies, but don't have to waste so much time and energy and money on killing them over and over again...lol

Love, love, love to garden. After my husband passed away (he was not a fan of gardening) I created many gardens around my yard. Everything I put in the ground grows, don't know what I do special, but flowers, veggies, trees, am growing my own little oasis. So far this year (I live in Michigan), haven't been able to do anything yet, we still are getting snow and have a snow cover. But tulips are poking through.

I just heard someone on the radio saying that they too have problems growing things and that they even kiled a bamboo! Needless to say I will be going to her page on the radio station and letting her know she is not alone!

I was driving when I heard it and just burst out laughing. I bet the other drivers thought I was a bit crazy!

I love to garden. When I was first married I used to put in as big a garden as I could wherever we lived (the ex was in the USN for 24 years). Over the years the gardens got smaller but I still enjoy it. I don't need much to provide for my son and I since getting him to eat veggies is difficult but I will be putting in one or 2 tomato plants, green pepper, cucumber and a zucchini or summer squash. The trick will be keeping out the squash borers.. they've killed my plants the last 2 years.

I also will put in basil, mint and thyme for the summer. I have a huge rosemary plant already that weathers the winter beautifully. The thing is so big I've given my neighbors the go ahead to help themselves and they do... but it's still huge! lol

Of course, I'll have flowers too... whatever strikes my fancy this year for color to go with the perennials and the hibiscus and hydrangea. I'm looking forward to it being easier for me to bend over and take care of the plants this year as the weight comes off.

I have a black thumb - nothing I ever plant grows - I tried my hand last year at a few things and they did well for a while, then they shriveled up and died.

I enjoy things from the garden, I just can't seem to grow one

I like to cook with fresh tomatoes and onions, so finally dh put up a box garden for me last year. One tomato plant and some onion sets. Grew sweet basil, a few carrots and potatoes in the flower bed (dd piled in some seed packets to 'help' and God Bless 'em, they grew!)

This year will be more of the same!! YAY!

I like to garden, but I'm not avid about it. I like planting flowers.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week/weekend.

We've had unseasonably warm weather here, so I was wondering, do you like to garden? If so, what sort of things do you like planting?
