I have been feeling positive about snacking less often. When I was overweight I frequently grazed all day. Losing weight I often ate 5-6 times a day. I am on maintenance calories now and often stick to 3 meals but occasionally have one snack in a day. Do I have to snack every day in order to participate in this challenge? I will say that when I slip, when I overeat, it usually is a snack, so I think I have room for improvement in this area.

With those restrictions, I'd ask your doctor for a referral to see a registered dietitian who can create a meal plan specific to your needs. They should be able to do that for you.

Good luck!

I need to be on a diet that I must be low sodium. low phosphorous ,and low potassium . I have gotten a couple of cookbooks for both the low potassium and low phosphorous but even those contradict one another to some degree. Anyone else know what types of food to not eat that has high potassium or high phosphorous content in them?

I am on a special diet also that might be considered unhealthy, high sodium, high cholesterol, both are too low for my blood to flow properly. Low protein, because of kidney disease, gluten intolerance. I get Potassium checked in 2 months, was high at one time, last test was O.K. I have a Gluten free cookbook, a allergy free cookbook, 2 Mediterranean diet cookbooks, one cookbook on making homemade pantry items, most I can adapt if I need too.

I have pleurisy, 2 types of anemia, macrocytic anemia, Iron deficiency anemia, from blood transfusions with wrong antibodies, causes blood to replace daily instead of 100 days, chronic pneumonia, pleurisy, chronic kidney disease, a partially collapsed lung, low blood pressure & blood clots in both lungs for 3 years. Now formed scar tissue.I am 56 years old. I had cervical cancer 6 years ago, no signs last 4 years as well. I have new blood clots now,2019.I am on P.S.T. time zone.

I'm on a special diet--and looking for snacks with no nuts, no dried fruits, low sodium, low potassium, low protein. Is there such a thing--so far I've found a recipe for oatmeal cookies, the caramel popcorn on on day 16. Is there a place I can find others. I can eat graham crackers, animal cookies and things like that.
