This is a lovely morning. I opened the back door and saw all the glittering spider's webs in the trees and grass. They are helpful garden spiders so aren't scary. The kittie came inside and ate her crunchies and then decided to nap in the open doorway. Yesterday I got laundry done and did my daily walking. I want to wish all my spark teams a good day

Hello team.

Due to personal reasons, I had a really tough week.

How are you?

I am exhausted but wanted to tell you that I have not quit.

Today, I did two submissions, did dishes twice, did two loads of laundry, made dinner and worked on one side hustle.

Also, I wrote a Sparkpeople blog. I got a message from one Sparkfriend. I wonder if I quit Sparkpeople if my absence would even be missed. I could easily quit and work for money in it's place. I volunteer as a team leader out of the kindness of my heart.

So, I give Sparkpeople one more week. Should I stay or should I go?

Do you watch every little calorie that you put in your mouth or do you savor every minute of every food that you want?

I love pasta. I also do not eat the Whole Wheat kind (like the experts want us to). I have a big serving then I do not binge afterward. If I ate a small portion of Whole Wheat pasta (which to me tastes like cardboard), I would end up on a binge later on.

So, that is my 2 cents!

Hello! For some odd reason I am exhausted today and will make this message brief and on all of my teams.

Yesterday, I did an article on The Bath & Body Works Experience. Today, I did an article on How To Know If A Man Loves You. Wish me luck on many views.

I am still waiting on Mr. Right. Do you know him?

Today, I did a 16 minute walk of a Walk Away The Pounds DVD and got bored.

For dinner, I made Cincinnati Chili. Used a sauce I have never used before and the sauce was nasty. Classico creamy tomato and aged cheese with garlic. Don't do it! uuugh

Tonight, 2 of my articles will go live, both about couples... (1) about nicknames and (2) about Christmas presents. Pray they get many views. :)

Last night, I was a mess. I was sick and could not sleep at all. Today, I felt like a zombie. The roommates and I simply bought pizza from Gionino's for dinner. A luxury.

I have cleaned up the team Dealing With Our Fears. Here is to hoping for activity and new members. Kindly pass the word around.

Then, I was going to do 30 minutes of activity every night before bed. I have decided to simply calculate my activity from my pedometer from throughout the day. Also, I was going to read The Carb Lover's Diet before bed, but the book is so dry that I cannot get into it. I do need my rest and do not want to burn out. I have 12 topics jotted down on paper to research and write about. No joke.

What can I say...God has given me another day. I am making the most of it, never taking forgranted. I may complain every-so-often, but am grateful.

I acomplished 3 articles today... (1) How To Survive Another Winter, (2) How To Shop Out Of Your Own Closet and (3) How To Deal With Holiday Stress. They should go live by tomorrow night. I am aiming for over 1,000 views for EVERY article. Each article gets a 30 day run. The views are calculated and then the writer gets paid accordingly.

I created an elaborate dinner tonight. Chef Boyardee Mini Ravioli. A roommate threw a temper tantrum but I cannot do everything. She is not helpless. Want to know why I asked?

The roommates are making their own Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Being that I am not a turkey person, I will make taco salad all for myself...YUM. I have been craving it like you would not believe. Are you having a different Thanksgiving dinner?

I wear my pedometer every day. Let's hope I don't lose the darn thing this holiday season. I may not get in those 10,000 steps, but I do what I can. SOMETHING counts, right? Do you wear your pedometer every day? About how many steps do you accomplish?

I have been working like a mad woman with a job and quite a few side hustles. With the holidays coming up, I want to be able to get my family and friends some nice things as opposed to what I could only afford the past few years. I know Christmas is not all about presents, but I love to see the looks on their faces when opening up their presents.

Then, after Christmas, I will be saving up to FINALLY buy a vehicle.

I just know God will pull through for me.

Hey...

How are you? What are YOUR plans for the weekend?

Me? I will be crafty this weekend. I am tired of writing as a fruitless job. All hard work with no appreciation. No person saying, "Your article taught me something" or "Super article". Where with crafts, you are going to make a person smile and they will think of you at every glance of it, not to mention so will their family and guests.

As for crafts, I educate myself on-line with YouTube.

My weight is not changing. Still at a plateau. I am not going to stress about it though. Doing so would only create more cortisol.

For some odd reason, my homemade diet lemon iced tea is not strong enough. I have even been using 12 tea bags now. Any idea?

Well, I will close for now. Have a super day and do something you like. I know what you mean though..."like" doesn't always pay the bills. I look at it this way, if I scrimp and save and do what I like, it will mean more.

I weigh 164 and want to lose 10 by Christmas. Still will be pleasantly plump, but will be out of the "obese" range and into the "overweight" range.

I don't know how I will do this though as I no longer want to weigh myself. Any suggestions? When I weigh myself, it does not reflect the change that I SEE in the mirror.

I have been so not pretty lately.

So, I got some inspiration.

I cleared off a shelf on wheels (kind-of like a television stand) and made a vanity out of it. Grabbed an unused office chair. Now, I can get all prettied up as my make-up and hair stuff is all laid out neatly. I won a make-up mirror at BINGO today and knew God was attempting to tell me something!

At BINGO, instead of playing for money, we play for different items. You might make fun, but I often win items to create gift baskets with & sell.

Hello team...

Well, today is a sad yet happy day.

Years ago, I started to babysit a 6 month-old baby boy, clear up through elementary school. Well, he is getting married today. I cannot attend. So, you can imagine how I feel.

Then, there is a local annual celebration, a block away, in my town, and I just do not feel like going. There is a car show, vendors, music, etc. I would like some new workout tee-shirts though, so hopefully there will be some politicans distributing free tee-shirts!

As for exercise, I rather do fitness pedal exercising. I did Walk Away the Pounds last night and felt totally unfulfilled. Maybe I just did not pick out the right one. Maybe I need to mix it up a bit and not do the same Leslie workout every workout and use her other DVDs. I have a ton.

I bought apple cherry tea bags the other day and placed a sun tea jar on my porch yesterday. It tasted like pure water. So, if you go to Dollar Tree, think twice about buying the apple cherry tea bags. Now I have Luzianne tea bags in the fridge attempting to make good iced tea. I know you are going to say to simply boil water, but I would end up spilling the boiling water on me.

Work has been going super.

However, my back has been killing me. Last night, I asked a housemate to rub muscle cream on my back and it felt much better...so much for the 2 aspirin.

One day soon, I am going to go on The Ultimate Tea Diet, by Mark "Dr. Tea" Ukra. I would like to combine it with The Peanut Butter Diet, but have not bought the PB DIET book yet.

Do you weigh yourself? It is kind-of a conspiracy to me. It is like all the scales talk amongst themselves saying "What will we tell her today, obese or overweight"? "Either way, let's lie and make her feel hopeless". "Ha-Ha".

So, to avoid the scale drama, I pay attention to my clothing. They are true friends. They are not in a clique of scale bullies.

Hello! How are you? I hope well! Sparking?

God has blessed me today. I started a newer new job 2 days ago. I found out this morning that an article of mine is going live @ 6:30pm CST. I live in EST. So, if you can figure the time, would you graciously tell me? LOL Thank you!

I have chili in the crockpot. I bulked it up with corn and pinto beans. Call me what you will, but I need some comfort food! Atleast it is a healthy comfort meal! The weather is dreary. Can you blame me?

I play BINGO once a week. People always get hungry and buy astronomicaI junk food. So, I decided to buy snacks and make snack grab bags to sell for a buck or 2. Good thing to do or no?

I cannot wait to watch MASS today on-line. I like doing so as I do not have to participate @ one set hour. I can participate whenever I want.

The 10 pounds I want to lose by Christmas has got to happen. I do get in activity, but keep forgetting to log it in on my Start page. (not an excuse...I really do forget) I watch my portions. I follow the Mediterranean diet like always, (except when I attempt the latest diet craze, then return). I want to know more about the Peanut Butter Diet. The local library does not have it.

Hello...

Today has been a happy yet sad day. Years ago, I started to babysit a 6 month-old baby boy. Well, the baby boy is all grown up and getting married in a couple of weeks! Then, I was not much of a cook. He eventually grew out of scrambled eggs to egg sandwichs. So, today, I ordered him and his bride a 7 quart crockpot and a Fix It & Forget It Big Cookbook containing 1400 crockpot recipes. No more eggs!

I need to ask you a question... Do any of you have a personal blog? Do you have any tips on how and where to start one? Which is the best one? I heard of something called blue hosting but have no clue what it means. I know there are free blog accounts, but one cannot earn money on them. I am not looking at becoming rich, but atleast want something to break even with. You know, atleast have the blog covered. Thank you in advance.

I am not happy about the coffee situation. I have a friend who I rely on to take me to Dollar Tree every week to buy flavored coffee for the ritual morning and evening flavored iced coffee. She cannot take me this week. The coffee I have from inventory for dire circumstances is sooooo yuck. How am I supposed to function without my treat?

Well, the menu for today is leftover dinner from yesterday...rotini marinara.

I am determined to lose 10 pounds by Christmas. Something has got to give. I am not overeating. I get in activity. While I was on vacation, the housemates did inventory without me. I have basically nothing to work with cooking-wise. What AM I supposed to cook with? So, even if I wanted 3 meals a day, it would have to be cereal or Ramen noodles! Unreal.

Will work for flavored iced coffee and homemade gnocchi.

Well, when I visit relatives or friends the food is usually special, yummy.

I had a two pound gain on Sunday. Today it was gone. I was happy about that.

I am an old member of this team, but it was so inactive that I joined another. But I am slender and everyone thinks I don't need to lose weight, but I think I would feel better with ten or less pounds gone.

I have been dieting all my life, so I know how complex losing weight can be. As to gaining weight on vacation, it is hard to judge calories when you are eating out. Unsweetened ice tea is a really good thing to curb your appetite but as I said depending on your level of activity (did you walk a lot or sit more) and what you ate, two pound gain is not bad.

My advice is to return to counting calories and enjoying that unsweetened ice tea and hopefully the two pounds plus more will disappear.

I was away on vacation for a week and am finally able to do my Sparkteams! Did you miss me? LOL

I just do not understand my weight... The entire week I had been on vacation, I drank coffee and unsweetened iced tea with lemon. I gained 2 pounds! I have a book called "The Ultimate Tea Diet" and thought I would 2 things...incorporate unsweetened iced tea with lemon into my lifestyle and also be able to save money by doing so by making homemade iced tea with inexpensive tea bags. What did I do wrong? uuugh

I have dinner fired up in the crockpot... Vegetable Soup! What I like is that veggies are "free" food and I used up tomato juice that was just sitting there in the fridge. I like to have 1 to 2 meatless meals every 7 days. I would never survive as a vegetarian but I look at animals and think "How could we do such a thing to them..." Know what I mean?

Last night was really rough. I had an panic attack and anxiety. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. I attempted to control it by staying in front of the television with "Impractical Jokers" on. Kindly pray it will not happen again.

Well, my 2 cents for now... Have a blessed Sunday and be good!

Hey there!

Today, I placed groceries away, did an article, washed dishes (numerous occasions), got garbage ready,...

My housemate was in our garage. I went to go talk to her and saw my futon I had forgotten completely about. It is a futon chair, but as you know futons may open up to be a bed. When I moved in years ago, I stored it in the garage and forgot all about. I usually do not go in our garage. It is my housemate's little cave. So, anyway, I placed it in my office. Now, if I get tired of my desk, I can chill on the futon.

I might get to see my mother on Sunday! I am so excited!

I have been searching through stuff I do not need, to give up, for this Lent. I have 2 more bags of clothes to give away. I think i need to go through some shoes.

Have you ever wished there were a team on Sparkpeople that interested you but did not exist? What team would it be?

Well, I have to work late with my boutique. I will make sure I get in my pedaling!

I have re-joined Sparkteam Stationary Biking to get my butt into gear. Due to the fact I am a freelancer that telecommutes, the sedentary life has got to go. My fitness pedal exerciser is coming out of retirement and will be parked at my desk. NO EXCUSES.

I do not mean to sit all of the time. However, I am poor and need to work. I should not have to apologize but am a team leader. Now you know why I am not losing all those 10 pounds YET.

What are all of you doing to take off those 10 pounds? We can learn from each other!

Hello! I have returned from my hometown. I miss my family already.

I have requested to become an editor for 6 more sites and have already received word of 3 that are NOT available. Wish me luck on the 3 that are left.

I am making German Potato Salad with Kielbasa in the crockpot for dinner. A quick recipe to throw together.

I keep saying that I am going to get more activity, but now truly mean it. My favorite workout DVD is called Walking With Joyce Vedral. I just get so intimidated as I want to have her same body. But, it will take a good 2 years to accomplish. Wish me luck. LOVECAROL has almost convinced me to attempt yoga. What is your take on yoga?

Hello team!

Instead of working first today, I am checking on the teams first. It is really weird... All the teams I lead are small and mostly inactive. However, these teams are what I am interested in. So, basically, I cheer myself on! LOL For those of you that DO participate, your are appreciated!

Last night, I finished reading "Eat To Trim" by Joyce Vedral, again. What I find most helpful out of the entire book are the breakfast suggestions. I am NOT a breakfast person. So, her fast breakfasts will come in handy.

How is your water intake coming along? Do you believe in drinking nothing but water or do you treat yourself to something else on occasion?

Have you been spreading your Spark and if so, how? I mailed my mother a care package with all kinds of healthy stuff. She received the care package yesterday and was thrilled!

How is your faith coming along? Are you an active participant at a church or worship on your own?

I need to be writing an article for the religious newspaper I write for, but cannot think of a good topic. I thought about doing an article on Confirmation names, but there was little research on such topic. Any suggestions?

My scale still will not budge. Those 10 pounds are completely impossible for me to imagine gone by summer. But I will do it! By following the suggestions and tweaking recipes in Eat To Trim by Joyce Vedral and JoAnna M. Lund cookbooks, I know I can do it! Also, I will get in more activity to speed up the weight loss. "Walk With Joyce Vedral" is a really good exercise DVD.

I have coupons to clip which is a good stress breaker. I like to consider it "retail therapy"!

What are YOU grateful for today? I am grateful for my family, friends and God.

My housemates are actually cooking their own dinner tonight...chicken & dumplings (yuck). So, I need to figure out what I want instead.

Well, that is my 2 cents for the day. Be good and Spark on!

Well... Last night did not go as planned...

I had wanted to do reviews, read Eat To Trim again and make some make-ahead salads. I got really sleepy. So, I thought I would take a little siesta. I just laid there. But could not sleep. So, then anxiety kicked in. So, I started to review and just got frustrated. So, I did 10 minutes of a Joyce Vedral walking DVD. I got frustrated. Got on my laptop. I got frustrated. Why I was so frustrated is beyond me. I wanted to make some make-ahead salads but the jars needed cleaned and cleaning jars in the middle of the night seemed a bit insane. LOL

Then, I have 3 ice cube trays in the freezer for my iced coffee. This morning I went to make iced coffee and a person used 2 of the trays and did not refill the ice cube trays... Of course, neither housemate will confess.

A friend is taking me to the post office today to mail my mother a care package. I cannot wait! It is a very very healthy care package.

I cannot seem to get past this plateau. I STILL weigh 160 pounds. The scale just will not budge.

I wanted to take on a pro-life team, but got afraid. In the past, I was punished by people for being active in the pro-life movement. I do not want to step on the wrong toes again. I will just keep my beliefs to myself.

Hello!

How was your day? Work, play or exercise?

Today, I went shopping and got a bunch of bargains! I bought a HUGE bag of Roma tomatoes for 50 cents! Bags of American lettuce mix for 99 cents! I have the rest for salads in my pantry already. So, I am making myself eat ATLEAST 1 salad a day.

Then, I shopped to make a care package to mail to my mother. I had coupons for $3.00 off Glucerna. So, I bought her 2 sixes of it... A jar of sugar-free jam, boxes of bel Vita, containers of cashews, a chocolate scented teddy bear and a Valentine card. Don't tell her!

My new greeting card job is kind-of frustrating. The cards keep getting returned saying that either the image is not relevant or the text is wrong. For example, I typed up a card saying, "Bear" with me "honey"... I did not mean to forget your birthday. I used a photo of a bear with a jar of honey. Well, I was told the image was not relevant. Get it? "Bear" instead of "Bare"? "Honey"? I really do not think these greeting card people have a sense of humor...

I still have not made up the Zindigo boutique yet or the Storenvy store. As for Storenvy, I would need constant transportation to the post office to mail crafts. I would be lucky if I could get to the post office once a week. As for Zindigo, (hey! DO NOT STEAL MY IDEA... lol) I want to make a boutique for the poorer woman.

What is really neat? I am a chief editor of a WAH site, so if need be, I could always fall back on a job listed on my site for a side gig. I only list jobs on this site that I would want to personally do. I was thinking, huh?

So, as you can tell, my exercise has been on the sidelines. I do wear my pedometer every day and night. But by bedtime, I am exhausted, and forget to log it in. Total blonde moments.

My fruit infusion water bottle came in the mail today! I have not taken it out of the packaging yet. I am excited! I think I will start out using pineapple or cherries or both tomorrow.

I am not going to tackle everything at once. Sure, I need to exercise. Sure, I need to eat right. Sure, I need to drink right. One Day At A Time! I want to read "Eat To Trim" by Joyce Vedral one more time. I need that foundation.

Have a good tomorrow and Spark on my Sparkfriends...

I am sooooo tired of drinking water! So, I have been drinking diet 7-Up. Kind-of like drinking water, but with a little lemon/lime taste. I know people diet soda is bad, but I beg to differ. Do YOU ever drink diet soda? Atleast I am not shoving tablespoons of sugar down my throat.

I did buy lemon juice to put in my bottled water, but just not in the mood for it yet.

I forgot to weigh myself this week...uuugh

Hey team!

Out of curiosity, would you be interested in a Sparkteam about healthy drinks? Anywhere from smoothies to mocktails? If so, would you tell me? I would appreciate!

The sun has not been out in over a week. For my job today, I did a short article on the topic of the winter blues . I made up a list of how to cope with it. Good for people to print out and post where they can see it when in need.

I have some library e-books saved to review for the newspaper i volunteer for. I still do not know which I like better...paper books or e-books. Next download, I will maybe learn how to utilize my tablet instead of my laptop for reading library books. Tablets are still new to me though.

My pedometer is still working... Woo Hoo!

I made a JoAnna M. Lund dish today for dinner called "Easy Pot Spaghetti". I thought it was delicious. A housemate of mine said the pasta was "too done". For real?

My diet is going good. Slim-Fast/WW/JoAnna M. Lund Recipes. I am doing something right as my family physician is discontinuing a medicine. I simply want to get in more activity. Believe me, I know what to do. I need either a motivation board or some motivational posters. When I see the friend feed, I get so jealous. People exercise ALL DAY. How do they manage this?

Hello team! The Steeler game is today! Woo Hoo!

I just want to know if I make any difference? As team leader, I want to be your own personal cheerleader, (although in high school I was on the dance line). Do you have any complaints? Suggestions? Comments? Just tell me!

My diet is awesome. 2 Slim-Fast shakes, a nice dinner and a snack. My snack is usually a peanut butter sandwich.

All I really need to do is increase activity. As I am a telecommuter, my butt is planted at my desk alot. However, there are even chair exercises available as you probably already may know. So, I have no excuse.

I really need to work today. I just feel bad when I work on a Sunday. God says to rest, right?

I would like to join a healthy drink team but there are not many. There is a team called Hydration Mama but it is not active. I would end up talking to myself. Know of any others?
I would like to have fellowship with members about my love for iced coffee and iced tea and lemonade and... You know what i mean.

I have ordered a fruit infusion water bottle. It was less than $3.00 on Amazon. I just had to have one! My health and my wallet will thank me. I will not be consuming so many store-bought bottled waters. I can get produce on clearance at my local grocery store. Woo Hoo!

Now that i drink iced green tea at night, I have been resting better. Awesome bargain? At Dollar Tree, you can buy a box of 100 count green tea bags for $1.00! I bought 3 boxes this past week! Woo Hoo!

I am soooo excited... I downloaded a free Joyce Meyer app onto my tablet! Woo Hoo! I may now take her wherever I go!

I am using a new crockpot recipe today out of my new (well, bought used) JoAnna M. Lund cookbook. It is called Comfort Pot Soup. It is basically every vegetable imaginable, beef, beef broth and tomato juice. It calls for Italian Seasoning but I am out of Italian Seasoning. So, I used salt, pepper and oregano. YUM

I would LOVE to see the sun. Talk about needing a good dose of Vitamin D!

I am wanting a neat Sparkpeople screen name. What do you think would be good?

Guess what I am doing? I am teaching myself Weight Watchers!

Over the years, I have been very intimidated by Weight Watchers, always finding it too hard to figure out. Besides, I never had the money to spare to attend meetings or use on-line.

Well, I have 4 WW cookbooks that I bought at yard sales and never paid much attention to them. Before the holidays this year, for the heck of it, I downloaded 2 WW Kindle books.

Now I know how to figure out SmartPoints (I am allowed 21 SmartPoints daily) and simply need to buy the required groceries to do this.

My housemates and I get groceries on Fridays. On Wednesday evenings, we sit down together and figure out everything we need. Hopefully they will not complain or disagree with my request for what I need.

I would like to take over the WW At Home Sparkteam. I will ask Sparkpeople Support eventually for their approval.

Maybe, just maybe, WW will get those 10 pounds outta here!

I am excited for Christmas! How about you?

Do you plan over the holidays to splurge on food or will you watch what you eat?

I think I will allow myself to 2 helpings for Christmas dinner and a few goodies as I very RARELY eat sweets.

3CATSLEP taught me a new tip. I use Sweet n Low in EVERYTHING. Well, I was told to use Stevia instead and that the weight would come off. The next chance I get to go grocery shopping, I will buy some. Very nice tip!

Hello team!

I am really bummed out because of this weather. Outside it is sheer ice. I am a sun worshipper, so you can imagine how I feel right now.

The warmest place in my house is the living room, so I am not really used to sitting on the couch with my laptop. It is hilarious as I have a fan on for white noise. Get it? Freezing weather yet have a fan blowing?

I am taking a break from researching for articles. I know to work first and THEN do Sparkpeople but I really needed a break. Know what I mean?

My Sparkpeople app goes off a million times a day. I do not know how to remove it!

I have to look for a good radio station! Maybe I should jam to get happier!

our church is have a pig roast/ car show and they will have vendors there and games for the kids. I am having a table there as I am starting a tops chapter there at the church.

I actually have 12 pounds to lose but aspire to be a bona fide member of this group.

Question?

Have you ever tried the new (or no so new) Caribbean Salad from Chilis?

You can eat it alone (no dressing, no meat) or with the dressing on it (lime honey vinagrette), you can add grilled chicken or shrimp.

I just like it with out the dressing and grilled chicken.

I don't trust the scales that give anything other than weight. Someone posted a blog about this, I think CMKUNKLE1. She had the full-body immersion BMI done, and it showed that her scale was way off! Don't use that setting; it's probably off for everything. Just stick with the weight, what scales were intended to measure.

I'm still waiting for my tricky hip to recover from my fall. Every time I think it's okay, it buckles on me, almost making me fall again. Agh! Maybe by Sunday, I'll be able to do my 30-minute cardio DVD. I need to come up with some kind of cardio that doesn't involve the legs. Yikes!

Hello ladies!

Funny thing...

Every morning after a small good stretch and peed go immediately and jump in the scale (digital) and the scale says 108.2, ok, then go back and do my exercises, zumba, go back to the bathroom, put set the scale to mark the weight, fat and BMI, and it gives me 108.4. Hum, go back again and set the scale for regular weight in and gives me a 108.2. Ok, so I sticked to the lowest weight but kept the highest for records.

Need good work out for abs.

Sara, this message is related on what you post in "how much do you weight today" or something....you understand.

I noticed, at least on me, my opinion, on how much carbs and sodium intake during dinner no matter how much water I take I see a gain the very next day, which is obvious, and that you have to include the lack of sleep.

On the other side I switched to have both or one of those together during lunch time and from there start taking water so during dinner time I am not so hungry or at least my intake of carbs is less (it supposed to be)...and of course trying to go to sleep early but not before 2 hours for my stomach to digest the food.

Good morning ladies...last week of the year and then starts all over again.

I'm glad to be back at work, I get bored at home, then I think that I want to do some exercise and ended up doing nothing, like yesterday, the only big exercise was to walk from store to store to get few specials. but couldn't what I was looking for...Nativities for my collection.

Last night DH made some darn good chicken wings with onion fries (baked) and sweet potato fries, everything was baked....I drank a lot of water, and now paying the consequences but happy about that......Now here at work I can take good walks to burn that fat and those calories.

Merry Christmas! Just me on Christmas morning. My daughter is in Austin, TX, with her boyfriend and his family. My sisters, their spouses, and my nephew will be coming over this afternoon for Christmas dinner. I have to get myself in gear and start making my eggnog pie, which needs time to chill and set up properly before being devoured.

That's great! I need to get my cholesterol down too. It's way too high. I think if I can just get back into a good exercise routine, I'll be able to. Congrats on losing so much weight in one year!

Of course Sara, which is mine, but I won't get naked at the doctor's office ;-)

Guess what, I got a margin of .1 error. When I jumped the scale it gave me 111.2, then because supposedley it was not calibrated into 0.0 I have to get out and come back again and this time weighted 111.3, which still excellent. In a year weight overall went from 130.0 to 111.3.

Anyway, the doctor told me that I am an excellent model, to keep doing what I am doing. Also my cholesterol went down since late May, from 298 to 226, I know still minimum range high but it is a heck of a lower points. In six months I have to do my test again to see if those points goes even more lower.

Well ladies I am heading to the doctor to get my annual physicial done. Here is what I did, I want to see if there is any difference between my digital scale and the doctor's digital scale.

Weighted this morning - 110.2
weigted my clothes pieces by pieces, pants 0.6, blouse 0.2, bra and panty 0.2 for a total of:
111.4

Also I had my calcium chew vitamin, going to the doc empty stomac, let see, I'll be back with the news.

I survived!

Remember I mentioned about the Country club Holiday Party, well I survived!!!!!!

Only had less than 1 glass of rose wine, after that large cup of iced water, then eat the ice (my mouth was numb), ate lots of veggies without dipping dressing and protein (cold cuts mostly), didn't even try the crab dip, the bread, the crackers, the shrimp wraps, the cookies or the carrott cake.

As I heard from TipyRain which is true: "you have to exercises to eat". Yesterday morning I did my 15 minutes Zumba, I walk for an hour during my lunch time, and only gained.2 ounces!

Remember to alternate alcohol with big glasses of water so you won't drink as much. That's what everyone always says to do, though I don't always follow that. You'll be fine!

I forgot to mention, unexpected cookies and candy at last night's stitching group. A new mother came with her baby and brought candy, and another regular brought her annual selection of homemade cookies. I was pretty good, so the scale didn't go up too high this morning.

I will be in the same boat tonight at the Country Club (golf) Holiday Party were my husband belongs to. I am only 1.2 away from my goal and I have to do it right, the party starts at 6pm and by that time, regulary, I am done eating. So watch out alcohol, crackers, dressings, and fried food.

I have a lots-of-food party coming up on Thursday, a mix of healthy and unhealthy, I'm sure. I will attempt to eat wisely; but I know that if I overdo it, I can just lighten up and have a salad for dinner. Hahahaha. Who am I kidding?

I went to one last night, since I was (still) with sore throat I didn't have any alcohol, no appetizers beside that I had 2 meatballs, no rice, only few pieces of meat and dance, dance, dance.
