I have 4 more lbs. to go till I can move on down the road. These next 4 lbs. are going to seem like an eternity. I will be so happy to move into 200ville for several reasons. Once I move down to 200ville I will feel like I'm making major progress plus the next ville will bring me to one of my biggest goals, Onederland. I can't wait till I can finally leave Twoterville & enter Onderland. Once I get down to either 190ville or 180ville I'm going to give my weight loss journey some major changes. Toning my body will play a major factor then. Till then my eyes will stay focused on entering Onederland. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Well, I got on the scale this morning & everything is back to normal. I'm also down another lb. which puts be on the 3rd floor. I have 4 more lbs. to go to get out of here if I don't do something stupid like go off track again! emoticon . I've learned a lesson this time when I went off track. This time it was a positive learning experience for me. I've learned when I get super hungry emoticon I will eat anything & very thing in site! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I kind of knew that already. But it was what I could have done to prevent the eating frenzy that put me off track. Which in turn caused a weight gain. emoticon If I would have brought some high protein snacks with me like hard boiled eggs this would have stopped my hunger in it's tracks. They say protein helps with hunger & IT"S TRUE!!!! The truth is if I would have taken a few minutes to prepare I would have saved myself a lot of grief. Oh well, live & learn. A very hard fact is that you have to pay the consequences for your actions. On a positive note at least I got back on track within a few days! Sorry for rambling on but his was a important lesson for me to learn!

To hold myself accountable I got on the scale yesterday. Did major damage in two days! The scale read 219 lbs. that was in the afternoon with heavy clothes on. emoticon Today when I got on the scale in the morning when I usually weigh myself I have 2 lbs. to loss to get back to 214. That made me feel a little better! It's so hard to lose weight but so easy to gain it. I guess this blew any chance of me leaving this ville by the end of the month! emoticon Oh well, live & learn. A very hard fact is that you have to pay the consequences for your actions. On a positive note at least I got back on track within a few days & I'm not back where I started in Jan. at 254 lbs. I'm down almost 40 lbs. emoticon For the last few days I've been going through my wardrobe & getting rid of clothes that I haven't wore in yrs. It's so hard to let go. Someday when I lose most of my weight I will make a clean sweep of all the old clothes. I also am getting rid of any clothes that I shrunk out of. I would rather shrunk out of clothes than grow out of them. It's such a good feeling when you are able to do that. Right now I am feeling a little depressed with this whole issue but once the scale starts going emoticon I'm sure that will help me feel much better! Signing off for now.

For the last two days I did terrible. emoticon Yesterday I went on a eating frenzy. All junk food. For the last two days I've been scared to get on the scale. I am back on track as of this morning. I am holding myself accountable. emoticon emoticon emoticon I will try by best to undue the damage I did when I weigh in on Sat. I belong to a group where they weigh in on Sat. Hopefully I can be back down to 214 again by then!

I got on the scale this morning & was emoticon 1 lb. I hope it's only water. I will have to be careful what I eat today. I went up the attic yesterday to pull out of storage some smaller sizes of tee's for the summer. In tops I am teetering between women's 1x & ex-lg. size. I can actually wear a ex. Lg. now. At this point a gain in weight would really get me depressed. emoticon I feel from here on in every time I drop 10 lbs. it will be noticeable. Maybe not to others but I surely will notice it. When you have over 100+ lbs. to lose you can lose 30 lbs. & no one notices it. Even you have a hard time seeing a weight loss at first. Once you get closer to your goal it seems with each 10 lbs. you lose it does make a difference. I noticed every time I drop below 215 lbs. it seems to be a turning point for me. Especially where the weight is coming off on my body. The fat rolls on the elbows & on my back start to shrink. That makes me so happy. emoticon I hate when you have to wear tee's for the summer & you have that little fat roll above your elbow just hanging their. Pretty soon I will be out of women sizes. I know I will probably have to loss another 15 to 20 lbs. to be out of 16W pants. but I will just emoticon till it happens! I can't wait till I can move on down the road to my next ville! I am going to be one happy camper the day that happens! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I've moved in to the 4th floor this morning. Far in the distance I can see the lobby. What a beautiful site! I know I have 5 more lbs. till I can move out but I started packing my emoticon in anticipation. This will be a motivation for me! I would love to move on down the road by the end of the month. That is 3 weeks away. emoticon I don't think my body will cooperate but I will give it my best shoot! If I can get out of here by the beginning of May I will still be happy. emoticon On the bright side the next ville (200ville) will bring me to one of my greatest & long awaited goals! ONEDERLAND! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I've reached the 6th floor a few days ago & it seems I'm hanging out their. I don't want to get to comfortable on the 6th floor so I have to kick it up a notch! I am trying to lose as much as possible before the warmer weather arrives. The weather has been gradually getting warmer. You still have to wear a lite hoodie. I know that won't last much longer. I really would like to be heading on down the road to 200ville before the summer arrives! emoticon emoticon

I survived Easter with indulging in a piece of apple dump cake. That piece of cake alone was my calorie limit for the day. The rest of the day I ate fairly well. So now that all the Bdays & holiday's are over I have to kick it up a notch. I did manage to weigh in today at 217 lbs. I think I know why I lost a lb. but we are not going to get into that. Their is a good chance I will be back up to 218 tomorrow. I will try & not let that get me discouraged. I will just have to deal with it & watch everything I eat. I really feel if I try real hard I can be out of here by the end of the month. That is only 3 1/2 weeks. I don't know if that is doable but I am going to kick things up a notch & give it my best shot! Time will tell. I'm going to be one happy camper when I can finally move on down the road! On the bright side at least I'm out of 230ville & 220ville where I felt so down in the dumps. Once I get down to around 209 lbs. I will start to feel like I am really accomplishing something not to mention I will look better. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Today is Easter but I don't think their is anyone in this ville to wish a happy Easter to! I haven't been cutting back on calories for the last week but I have been staying in my calorie range. As a result no gain but no loss. Today we are going over my DD & I hope I can stay in my calorie range. Tomorrow I will be on a more strict diet. If I don't start cutting back & moving I will never get out of here before the middle of May. It would be nice to be moving on down the road by the end of the month but I don't know if that is very doable. Time will tell.

On Friday I dropped down to the 8th floor.I'm still the same. It would have been nice to be down a lb. or two by April which is tomorrow. But it is what it is. I would love to be out of here by the end of April. If my body would only cooperate!! I wasn't moving at all this weekend. I did watch my calorie intake though.At least the scale stayed the same. I didn't weigh myself this weekend which is a BIG mistake for me. When I don't weight myself each day to stay accountable I gain weight. emoticon Some experts say you shouldn't weight each day but for me that has proven wrong! emoticon I know myself & I'm doing what I have to do to lose this weight. As they say "Just do it" emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I'm back! emoticon for the millionth time! Wow, it looks like I'm the only one here & also the last one to post in 9 months! That's ok because as I've I said before I use these villes as a weight loss journal. Because of my aha moment & the scare emoticon it put in me once I leave here I'm not coming back. I got it right this time. I wish that would have happened a couple of years ago. Anyway, I hope my body will co-operate & I can be out of here by mid May. The weight came off pretty fast in 220ville but my body could decide to slow down like in 230ville & I will be like a emoticon crawling along struggling to lose every lb. till I'm out of here. If that happens I will try my best to stay focused & emoticon till I can finally leave this ville. Now that I'm out of 230 &220ville I feel much better. emoticon I feel like I'm on track now & finally making some progress. Your attitude on the way you feel & look has a lot to do with your weight loss. For the month of April I am going to work on my appearance. emoticon I'm tired of wearing big oversized tee's. stretch pants with bleach stains all over them, no make-up with my hair pulled back. I look frumpy with a capital F!!!!! Enough is enough. I am also going to watch my calorie intake. I will keep moving & make good emoticon food choices. Eventually (hoping it won't take to long)) it will all come together & I will be able to say goodbye to 210ville. emoticon emoticon

I took a detour. emoticon Our summer challenge begins today so I'm hoping this will help me to get back on track. I am determined to reach Onederland by the end of this year. If I don't get back to some serious work I will never see Onederland.

Ok I weighed in at 211 lbs. this morning. Down to the 1st floor! emoticon It's funny with weight loss. I can be out of here in a few days or it could take a few weeks. I'm hoping I don't ever come back to this ville. I can't wait to see a one in front of my weight. I feel that once I hit 199 lbs. that will be a very big incentive to keep going in the right direction. I never made it to 190ville yet. I honesty couldn't even tell you the last time I saw 199 lbs. Perhaps 10+ yrs. Once I move to my new high rise I'm not going to leave this team or 220ville till I make it to Onederland. I will return then to make a finally post to let you know I made it! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon ONEDERLAND emoticon emoticon

Today is weigh in day for me with my BLC-25 team. I always weighed myself on Friday's but they weigh in on Wed. so it is what it is. I dropped another 1lb. I'm down to 212 lbs. Now I'm starting to get excited. I know it might take a while to lose those last 3 lbs. but that's ok. It's better to be at 212 than 219. I can see the lobby in the distance now. I'm going to start packing my bags in anticipation of my move to my new hi-rise! With every lb. I lose it brings me closer to Onederland. I would really like to enter their before the end of July. I think that is very doable. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Well I'm back from my retreat & to my surprise I didn't gain any weight in fact I lost 2 lbs. emoticon I did do a lot of walking. Up 4 flights of stairs & down 4 flights of stairs every time I had to get to my room. This place is huge & so are the grounds. They served food buffet style so I tried to eat the meat & veggies & stay away from the carbs. My one downfall each day was the homemade ranch dressing. The chief that was preparing the food is a excellent cook. The desserts are to die for! I opt for fresh fruit instead. I treated myself on the last day to a Cannoli.

Well the scale read 215 lbs. this morning. I guess I should be happy but tomorrow the scale could read 218 lbs. Another thing that has been bothering me . I just got back on track & I'm going away on retreat from May 5th -9th. I will have little control on what I eat for 5 days. Plus they have a great cook their. When I start to see all that delicious fattening food will I be able to resist it? emoticon I have to come up with a plan. not to gain more than 2 lbs. emoticon

Well I'm back. It's 8 months to the day to be exact! emoticon I hope this will be the last time I visit this ville. I'm moving in on the 8th floor. I hope my stay will be short. I'm going to emoticon till I'm out of here. I guess I'm the only one here but that's ok because these villes are like weight loss journals to me. They also keep my enthusiasm emoticon . When your think about losing weight in 10 pound increments it is so doable. Moving down each floor gives you something to look forward to not to mention the excitement of moving to your new ville. I have never made it to 190ville yet. That is my biggest goal, Onederland! emoticon

I'm finally close to moving out of this town!! I have been here a very long time. But the scale at WW said 210.6 today, so I'm pretty darn close.

I know how my weight goes up and down so I'm not calling the moving van just yet. But I'm truly focused on finally getting out of town.

The day has finally come & I'm moving on. When that scale read 209 lbs. I was so, so, happy. emoticon I guess it's such a big deal for me because this next ville will bring be to Onederland! emoticon I've been here for almost 6 weeks. The more I lose the slower it takes to get out of the villes. That is to be expected. My dream is to see a 1 in front of those numbers on that scale before the new year. Their is no reason why it shouldn't happen. Their are times I go off track for a few days or a week but by the second week I'm back on track. It's funny, back in the old days about a year ago emoticon when I would go off track it could last for 4 months! emoticon Times have changed. I'm still here! emoticon The scale has been up & down. Today it read 212 lbs. We finally closed the camper & I have boxes all over the place. Slow but sure I am repacking things then I will put everything up the attic till the spring. My 1st weigh-in on Wed. with BLC23 didn't go well. emoticon It might have been a little water & a little weight gain. I was up 4 lbs. but today down 2 lbs. I am so close to leaving this ville. I have only 3 more lbs. but it might as well be 20 lbs. the way things are going. I only have myself to blame. I know I didn't start my BLC the way I would have liked to but that's ok. I have 11 more weeks. I am hoping that if I can get my act together maybe Onederland will be in the future. It will be hard with my BDay, DH's BDay, & Thanksgiving all coming up but I managed last year to loss weight for these celebrations & I can do it again this year! The weight loss might not be allot but as long as the emoticon is going emoticon . That's all that counts! emoticon emoticon

I'm a little scared to post this because tomorrow the scale might go back up a pound or two. Well here it goes anyway. I got on the scale & the scale finally after 15 days moved emoticon I'm down to 210 lbs. I'm finally in the lobby! A lot of times when your moving down the floors you will go from the 2nd or 1st floor to your next ville. You never get to see the lobby. So here I am in the lobby, finally! Another scary thing is tomorrow we are going over the camper to close it up for the season. I will be their a few days. It is harder for me to monitor my calorie intake. I have to be totally honest it is going to be real hard especially with going over the club with my Dh not to gain any weight. Also tomorrow starts my BLC 23. I will just have to do my best & hopefully I won't gain any weight or at worst gain a lb. I'm going to try & be positive not only pack up things around the camper but start packing to move to my next ville! emoticon emoticon

This is when I start to get a little excited! I'm down another lb. Down to 213 lbs. Four more lbs. & I will be moving to my new ville which will bring me into Onederland. The weight has been coming off slowly but steadily. I hope it continues that way. Who knows, maybe I will reach 200ville in a couple more weeks! Once I move into 200ville it will be almost like a clean slate for me. Over the past 3 yrs. I have been back to 210,220 & 230ville 5 times. That is 5 times in each ville. emoticon I have only been in 200ville 2 times. I never made it to 190ville. I guess you can say 190ville will be my offical clean slate. I know in my heart once I enter Onederland I'll never be back to these higher villes! It's been hard going at times but I never gave up. I guess that is the most important thing. Never ever give up! emoticon emoticon

As of today I'm down to 214 lbs. This is a loss of 62 lbs. so far & it is also my half way point of losing weight! emoticon Just think 62 more lbs. & I will have reached my goal. I will not be extremely obese, obese, or even over weight. Maybe next year at this time I will have reached my goal! emoticon emoticon

Well I'm so happy to report that I'm at my half way point in this ville. Yesterday the scale read 215 lbs. emoticon I know Onederland is a long way off yet but that is keeping me focused. With each lb. I lose I get a little closer to my goal of Onederland. I'm being real emoticon I've been over the camper now for two days & we are not leaving till tomorrow. Last yr. at this time if I was over the camper I would have blew my diet big time. I can honestly say that I have grown & learned from my experience. Ever since I got back on track in June when I go over the camper I bring all kinds of healthy food to eat!

Well, I mustered up enough courage to get on the scale this morning. It was scary. emoticon I didn't gain any weight. Thank goodness! emoticon I have been working to hard since June to loss this weight & I'm not going to blow it now! I'm going to be more careful from now on! emoticon

Yesterday I royally blew it! emoticon emoticon Went out with DH & had a couple of light beers! One thing lead to another which started me on a eating frenzy! I'm afraid to get on the scale today. I think the alcohol triggered the eating. I know I read that somewhere in the past that alcohol can do that. I will get on the scale tomorrow & see how much damage I did. I am going to learn from this experience. emoticon I will not let this happen again. I'm getting to close to Onederland to blow it now! I guess I'm not going to be leaving this ville in a month. I refuse to let this get me down. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I'm going to keep pushing till I'm out of here!

emoticon Anyone, I guess I'm the only one here. That's ok. I'm use to that. I only been here 5 days & down 3 lbs. In my last ville I was struggling to lose I lb. Sometimes 7 to 10 days went by before I saw the scale drop 1 lb. Figure that out. Well since my body is cooperating right now I'm going to run with it. emoticon Anyone, I don't know if I'm the only one here again. It seems that a lot of these ville aren't too active. I'm down to 217 lbs. I don't know how long I will be in this ville. The weight has been coming off a little slower now so I might be here a while! I was in 220ville for over a month. I am trying to focus on Onderland and a few of my little goal in between that. Just made a big jump from about 220 down to 211-212. Hoping I won't stay long here but I've been having some trouble getting motivated. Hopefully vacation and my birthday the end of summer will keep me motivated enough to lose the weight. The first goal I have set is to get to 190 by August 1 if possible but definitely no later than my birthday (aug 25).

Weighed myself yesterday at weight loss drs at 218 but want to make sure next week it stays off before changing my ticker . Working my way slowly towards 140 ville, maybe even 130 ville.in the long term of things for retirement lol. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Staying about the same. emoticon It was my anniversary yesterday & I strayed again on my diet! emoticon Started eating sweets & couldn't stop. emoticon Birthday is on Sunday & even though my DH is taking me out to eat I'm going to be careful when ordering. I strayed from my diet on election day! emoticon It was a long day for me. I work at the poles need I say more. They had these delicious donuts which I couldn't refuse. (ate three). emoticon One thing led to another & I royally blew my diet. One good thing I was back on track the next day. I refused to get on that scale . Weighing in at 219 I was too close to 220ville. which I didn't want to go back to. I would really have felt depressed so I choose not to weigh in on Friday. I will try to be real good emoticon & check the scale perhaps on Mon.

Since I weighed in in 210-Ville today, I thought it appropriate that I post today to talk about what I've learned and what strategies I'll use to get out. The sweet potato crumble has to GO. I missed my afternoon walk (although I took one in the morning) and that definitely hurt me. I could get rid of the coffee, but where would I find my will to live? Just kidding. Only sort of. I didn't do much better today. Glad the sweet potato stuff is almost gone. I may allow myself a couple of squares of dark chocolate mid morning, and in the afternoon, but other than that, I think I need to give sweets a rest. Need to get settled in my new Ville!

Finally hit my 30 lbs. lost! Woo! 30.7, actually. I was shocked when I looked at the scale this morning. I'm ready to go onward and upward. I'm determined to be below 200 before the end of the year. I haven't been there in about 8 years. So excited.

Made another Sweet Potato Crumble. I need to copyright this recipe. It's almost too good, and I'm going to have to take some to my family to prevent eating more than I should. I've been doing a lot of protein and vegetables for breakfast and my late afternoon meal.

I've been doing a mile walk in the mornings (which I need to go and do NOW), and 2 miles with my husband in the evenings. I need a treadmill for the winter. Hmm...

Oh, and I'm only 1 lb away from 200-Ville! Have you joined yet?

I had this wonderful post all typed up this morning then my son wanted to know how to evolve a grotle so i switched tabs. When I switched back, sparks told me there was an error and I hadn't entered any text in my post.

Anyways, I am lingering at about 209 lbs. I don't do near enough exercising, and my meal planning needs to improve. Last night was a "surprise casserole" which is what i call it when i hrow things together due to lack of planning then sudden hunger. It turned out fairly tasty, but I am sure i would be scared of calorie content if i had tracked it. Unfortunately (or maybe it is a fortunate thing) i hadn't been hungry all day so i could afford whatever was in it. It must have been good because son continued to talk about it today. I think with a bit better planning and a little more effort I might be dropping more quickly away toward onderland... Now to compromise with the kds on what we will and won't eat....

I LOVE sweet potatoes. It's a household thing actually. Our dog even likes them, to the point he steals them off the counter. I would love to belive crumble is healthier than other desserts... Like it has to be a better choice than turtled marble cheesecake ;-)

Weird. I could swear that I responded to this post yesterday. Well, as I said, I think yoga or pilates would be ideal for your situation. Have you tried them? Sorry to hear you're dealing with all of that on top of the weight loss issues -- but it's 80% diet anyway. Trust me.

I hit my '180 days' of consistent exercise today. I wrote a blog post about it. It's been a pretty monumental day. My husband and I celebrated with a 2 mile walk. I took a mile walk this morning by myself, and listened to Thanksgiving hymns and cried. It was a much more emotional moment than I expected it to be.

The actual '6 month' anniversary (of April 26th) comes on Friday, the 26th of October. I'm 2 lbs. away from reaching my 30 lb. goal, so I'm hoping to hit it by then. I ate pretty well, but came home and had a sweet potato crumble that my husband encouraged me to make yesterday. It wasn't as bad as eating a real dessert (maybe it was), but I did an extra mile tonight just to try to work off the extra calories.

If I eat it again tomorrow, it will be earlier in the day when I can work it off naturally. Anyway, that's what's going on in my weight loss world. How are things on your end?

I'm sorry you're having to deal with all of that on top of the weight loss issues. As I said, I'd think that yoga or pilates would be beneficial in your case. They're not too rigorous, but can actually give you a good workout if done properly.

I've bounced up, then down, then up, then down. So, I'm down for now, and plan to continue moving in this direction until I hit my 30 lbs. lost goal on Friday. It's my 6 month anniversary for weight loss. I said that I wanted to lose a minimum of 30 lbs. I've struggled in the last month, but I deliberately set my sights a little lower than what I could have achieved, because I wanted to account for times like this when my progress was lackluster at best. So, I'll be working hard to have a good end to this first leg of my journey.

Leg 2 begins on Saturday. I want to go for another 30 lbs. by April (my next 6 months). I'll be working on a strategy to achieve that goal this week. I'm delving into uncharted territory. After another 30 lbs. I'll be smaller than I've been for the last 10 years or so. Pretty serious stuff.
