Assignment #13 – For week of March 27th, 2011
SPRING CLEANING
Well, it is that time of year for “Spring Cleaning”. (Or for those in other areas of the world just a time to do cleaning! Ha ha)
I know Spring Cleaning is not a pretty sight but see what you can come up with to make an “interesting” photo!
Share pictures of anything that has to do with Spring Cleaning.
People, groups, or even yourself, doing Spring Cleaning,
Before and/or after pictures of areas that need Spring Cleaning,
Pictures of the items we use to do Spring Cleaning.
These pictures can be inside or outside cleaning.
----------------------
Remember that we would like to see new photos that you have taken during this week or within the last few weeks. Archive photos are okay but new ones are preferred.
The assignments are to just have fun with, to share, and to keep us snapping photos.
Photography is a great avenue for exercise and keeping us out of the kitchen! LOL
If using a Flickr account please place a tag onto your photos to relate it to the assignment.

How to Participate in the Assignments on SparkPeople Shutterbugs Team:
1. SparkPeople Assignments:
First you must post pictures to a photo sharing site, such as Flickr or Picasa or other photo sharing site.
We like Flickr
www.flickr.com/ and joining is free.
In Flickr it is easy to leave comments on the pictures we view.
2. To Post a photo to the Shutterbugs team on the SparkPeople team.
Find your picture on Flickr, or the photo sharing site you are using.
Click on it so it is the main photo on the page.
Then copy the url (web address) of the photo.
Go to SparkPeople and the Shutterbugs team at
www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/groups_i
nd
ividual.asp?gid=794 .
Find the thread for the weekly assignment in General Team Disscusion Forum.
Click on Reply to open a message box, leave a message if you want.
Then look directly above the message box and click on the middle button that says, "Add a Link" and paste the url that you copied into that box and click the button. A link of your photo will now be in your message. If you skip this step, the link for your picture will not be "clickable."
**Please make sure your links are clickable in the Sparkpeople thread by using the "Add A Link" button that appears over your message box.**
-----------------------------------
----------------------------------
There is a “second” Shutterbugs group that is posted in the Flickr web site.
The following instructions are for that group in Flickr only.
1. Flickr SparkPeople Shutterbugs group
After creating your Flickr account, then you may also join the Flickr Shutterbugs team in the Flickr site if you want. From your Flickr page, click on "groups" and do a search for "Sparkpeople Shutterbugs" and join us there. Or you can use this link.
www.flickr.com/groups/sparkpeopleshu
tt
erbugs/ .
Now you can participate in all the discussions, games and send pictures to the "group pool" that are on the Flickr Shutterbugs group.
We also post the same Assignment that we have in Sparks Shutterbugs each week.
This is in addition to our Shutterbugs Team on SparkPeople.
2. Posting Assignments in the Flickr SparkPeople Shutterbugs group:
Flickr's new format makes posting photos to the assignment topic easier than ever:
- Choose your photo
- Click on "SHARE THIS"
- From the box labeled "GRAB THE HTML" click on the drop-down menu, choose MEDIUM.
- Click in the box "COPY AND PASTE THE CODE BELOW," highlight and copy the code.
- Go back to the discussion topic, paste the code in the comment box and you're done!
You also do the same for games, except that the size you choose is SMALL.
These instructions are on every week's assignment topic for your easy reference...
Try it, you'll like it...
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
