what do you mean????You are a mess????

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And
maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

osteoarthritis - bone on bone - cannot have surgery until I lose 100 pounds
pain standing or walking - stiffness - sometimes my right knee locks up and will not bend at all
I am new here and trying to find ways to deal with the pain
I am going to water aerobics 3 days a week
I am trying to do chair exercises on the others - but I really have to force myself

goal is to be able to walk again

Several years ago, I was hit head on by a drunk driver. My jeep caved in on my knees and they haven't been right since. The doctor told me it was soft tissue damage. Although they do not feel as bad as they used to, they still give me discomfort. I'm thinking that now there's some arthritis in there now too.

Had partial replacement on the right knee due to injuries from biking accident (was hit by a van). Left knee just had meniscus repair last year in December and a bone spur removed. Have osteoarthritis too. Trying to keep and stay moving!!!

I had a torn lateral minicus that I had repaired in June. but in addition to that, I have osteoarthitis and CondroMalisia in both knees. At some point in the (hopefully distant) future, I will need both replaced.

okay, the dr. said that my knee bones are fine but several of my ligaments are too loose so my knee cap isn't tracking like its supposed

i am modifying most exercises, like the fitness blender workouts i've started doing.

my pt is having me do a modified chair squat to strengthen the quads

emoticon My challenge with my knees is linked to Rheumatoid Arthritis. This manifests itself in pain and swelling with difficulty in any bending of the knee joint.
