My Goal is by January 1, 2012 is to get down to 160 pounds, that's only a 6.8 pound loss in one month.

emoticon Today is Dec. 1,2011 and I weigh 166.8 lbs.

I hit 169.4 on Nov. 11th and 167.0 on Nov. 27, 2011. Three days after Thanksgiving, what a shock!!! emoticon

My Goal is by October 31, 2011 is to get down to 169 pounds, that is only 6.4 pounds or 1.6 lbs a week. I want to brake out of the 170"s. emoticon

Well my Goal is to get back to doing Callanetics. I have been on a Spark Brake for awhile and it is showing so I'm working on getting back into walking and Callanetics. Wish me Luck, I need all the help I can get!!!!! emoticon

Hi all,
I've been absent from the board...in fact from the entire site for over a year! I had my baby girl last september and since I had a C-Section I had to wait 6 months until my doctor gave me the ok to exercise. I am now sooo ready to get down and do some callanetics!! So my goal is to loose all the baby weight and then some more!
Hopefully I'll be able to get it done

Hi all,

CHARLIE-B, thanks for advice. it' just that callanetics group here is scheduled only for those three days. I tried yoga once, but it's too tiring for my back and I couldn't feel any muscles. callanetics is awesome, since I can feel my muscles and they're sore afterwards.

as for everyday exercises, I think it's great since you don't have any opportunity to slack and feel more firm in approaching your goal. if not for work I would be able to work out everyday.

and you're right about callanetics being an unknown exercise. I haven't even heard about it until two months ago. but I'm glad I did! emoticon

_IAHEL_, 3 time a week is all you need to do according to Callan. I'm just trying an experiment with exercise for this month of doing some kind of exercise everyday, it's not always Callanetics. Sorry about your friend leaving.

This team was formed in 2007 but, it has had several leaders and lots of folks come and go. I agreed to try it as the leader a couple of months ago and mostly it seams that the new members are the only ones that post. I appreciate all that are posting. This is a unique and some what unknown exercise so we don't have a lot of members.

CHARLIE-B, I do callanetics thrice a week for one hour.
it's a shame but I skipped my Friday work out emoticon
we had a farewell party at work, a good friend of mine left us so I just couldn't make myself abandon him and go to gym :(

PS our SparkTeam is quite deserted...

callanetics is much more fun than you usual workouts in a gym so I do enjoy my every hour of training! and plan to do it even after I reach my goal weight since it makes me feel energetic and happy!

congrats with proceeding to your goal! the main thing is to really want to do something, so I'm sure you'll make it and will exercise every day just because it's fun! emoticon

My goal is to be 143 lbs by summer and be healthy and happy with myself.
In order to achieve my goal I plan to make fitness my daily activity, track my nutrition and eat only healthy stuff.

These are my goals, as posted in my end of 2010 blog ~

1. Lose 60 pounds.
2. Continue expanding my vegan nutrition.
3. Do a yogic shoulderstand.
4. Fit comfortably into a size 14.

I ended 2010 at 250 pounds and am currently 238 (next weigh-in is Sunday). So 12 pounds down toward the goal of 60.

I have definitely expanded my vegan nutrition and broadened my food choices. This is a continuing process, but I'm happy with where I am so far.

I cannot do a shoulderstand yet, but I have stopped using the wall as a prop when doing legs up wall pose. I can put my legs straight up on my own and do a slight lift, so far. I still have a lot of time left in 2011 to get to the full shoulderstand though.

As for size, I've gone into some 16s now. I'm slowly getting to where my 18s fit well and elastic waist 16s fit and look good. There are some 14s waiting for me to get to that part of the journey!

emoticon To reach my health and weight/size Goals my plan is:

1. Eat a Low Carb and Raw diet Forever

2. Callanetics (10 years in/10 hours) 1 session 3 times per week

3. Zumba 1 hour 3 times per week

4. Track all this in the Trackers and/or on the Team Goals

My goals for 2011are:

Short Range Goal: 150#s
Long Range Goal: 135#ís
and
Long Range Goal: lose 65 inches over all. I have lost 22.5 inches so far.

I would love to lose a pound a week but I have been stuck in the 175 range since last Oct. so I would settle for a pound a month.

I'm beginning to think, I may as well just accept the fact that I will never be thin again. I guess when some people (like me) reach a certain age their body just says no more.

I'm doing Low carbs and eating RAW plus, doing Callanetics, Zumba and walking at least twice a week, (and trying to make myself do exercise more often).

I need to get back to thinking I CAN and I WILL NEVER GIVE UP....
