Suzy, this is a great example of things that are good for us & why.

"this is very hard but I can do it."

I am going through something now that this is helping me with, by saying this to myself.

Thanks!

Post Things That Are GOOD For US & WHY!

Can DO attitude!

This is one of the most important ingredient in a healthy life. Negative talk is the best way to self defeat any project you strive to complete. So how do you switch from a negative "I will never" to a positive "I am on my way"? By changing your internal and external speech, allowing only non negative reactions will mold your attitude. This can be accomplished but it does take a lot of practice, but like any exercise, the benefits are ongoing. So next time you think, "I cant do this", perhaps you can change it to, "this is very hard but I can do it."

Good luck,
remember EVERYONE is a star!

Make every day special, enjoy life, choose to be positive!

I am, an enthusiastic supporter of natural medicine, and I personally grow and eat aloe vera plants.

Each day before I make my superfood breakfast Green Smoothie, I fillet the leaf and drop the aloe vera gel into my blender. A few minutes later, I'm enjoying the most impressive medicinal herb that nature has ever created.

There is nothing on this planet that offers the amazing variety of healing benefits granted by aloe vera. In a single plant, aloe vera offers potent, natural medicine that:

Halts the growth of cancer tumors.
Lowers high cholesterol.
Repairs "sludge blood" and reverses "sticky blood".
Boosts the oxygenation of your blood.
Eases inflammation and soothes arthritis pain.
Protects the body from oxidative stress.
Prevents kidney stones and protects the body from oxalates in coffee and tea.
Alkalizes the body, helping to balance overly acidic dietary habits.
Cures ulcers, IBS, Crohn's disease and other digestive disorders.
Reduces high blood pressure natural, by treating the cause, not just the symptoms.
Nourishes the body with minerals, vitamins, enzymes and glyconutrients.
Accelerates healing from physical burns and radiation burns.
Replaces dozens of first aid products, makes bandages and antibacterial sprays obsolete.
Halts colon cancer, heals the intestines and lubricates the digestive tract.
Ends constipation.
Stabilizes blood sugar and reduces triglycerides in diabetics.
Prevents and treats candida infections.
Protects the kidneys from disease.
Functions as nature's own "sports drink" for electrolyte balance, making common sports drinks obsolete.
Boosts cardiovascular performance and physical endurance.
Speeds recovery from injury or physical exertion.
Hydrates the skin, accelerates skin repair.

Truly, there is nothing else that compares to the medicinal potential of aloe vera. And yet most people only know about the topical applications of aloe vera gel. They think it's only good for sunburns. In reality, aloe vera is useful for both external and internal use.

I try to drink 8 glasses a day and do most days!
I didn't like water, but now it is my drink of choice after my coffee in the morning.

Hi Everyone!

There are many benefits to drinking water. Here are just a few:

The following are some of the things that water will help the body with:

*Suppresses appetite

*Assists the body in metabolizing stored fat, because your liver is overloaded when your kidneys don't get enough water. Your liver metabolizes fat, and it can't do that 100% if it is doing the kidneys job.

*Reduces fat deposits in the body

*Relieves fluid retention problems. If you don't give your body water, it will hold it so as not to lose it.

*Reduces sodium buildup in the body

*Helps to maintain proper muscle tone.

*Rids the body of waste and toxins

*Relieves constipation

Now that you know WHY you should drink more water. Let's talk about HOW MUCH you should drink. Here are some tips on water intake:

Take your weight, divide it by 2, and that's how many ounces of water you should be drinking daily. But at least drink a minimum of 64 ounces per day (2 quarts)

Here are examples, if your.....
Weight is 200, drink 100 ounces ( 8 12-ounce glasses)

Weight is 250, drink 125 ounces ( 10.5 12-ounce glasses)

Drink an additional 8 ounces per day for every 25 pounds overweight

It is better to drink the water cold, it is absorbed quicker and may burn more calories
Drink clean water, bottled or filtered.

THIS POST WILL SERVE AS A REMINDER TO ALL OF US IN THE MONTHS TO COME.

HAPPY DRINKING TO YOU ALL!!! emoticon
