Awesome work! I do what I can on the days I can. I have been doing Callanetics since 1989, but some days, are still better than others.. always strive to do your best but do what you can, there is always the next workout. Push to perfection, for that day.

That sounds good Rapon.

My first go today and I just did the 5 warm ups and the 3 stomach exercises,
but only did 50 instead of 100 on the third stomach exercise.
More next time.

I aim to get to the point where I can do the whole 10 in 1 dvd, then do it 3 times a week for a while, then reduce it to shorter more frequent sessions.

I have the 10 in 10 DVD and try doing part of it every day and the complete workout once a week. For me, nothing compares to Callanetics when it comes to toning and shaping the body and strengthening the core without putting too much pressure on the joints.

Sounds awesome, take your time, listen to you body, if you feel out of it that day, take the day off, do a small walk or perhaps the 15 minute maintenece workout, good luck!

I was planning to start walking more next week but I think I will reduce the number of days I week and try to do the Callanetics 3 times each week. I'll check in here with the number of reps done.

Finally did the DVD workout yesterday. It is great. It's just a little different from my book. But that's nice- to change it up a bit. Had sore legs for a couple days after - even though I tried to not overdo it. Now I'm heading off to my 4th night of 12 hour shifts, hope to workout tomorrow morning after work. I'll be tired, but usually have more energy knowing it's my last shift!
I can do it, I can do it, I can do it. . . . . maybe.

Su I am so happy you found your way back to Callanetics,I started about 1989 I believe and though I have wandered at times I always seem to revert back to Callanetics. No workout I have done compare to the feeling of working your muscles hard but relaxing and nurturing the way Callanetics does.

Welcome to the team we have several ways to interact through the message board, quite a few challenges going on month to month even day to day :) Please feel free to post, brag, complain, ask questions, just where ever you need to be, this group believes in supporting our members at all levels just as Callan taught through her marvelous workout, this is not a competition, go at your own pace.

Hi. I just joined your team. I was doing Callanetics way back when (1988?), and loved it- the slowness and grace of the movements. Then, yesterday found "Callanetic Countdown" book at HalfPrice Books, so, of course I bought it (for $3.00) and started with the exercising yesterday afternoon, also did them this morning. Well, I feel great! Just two sessions lets me know that this is wonderful and is now part of my life.

Hi hyperzombie! I never got to do this on Monday cos I was ill, but have made callanetics 10 in 10 twice a week a goal on the BLC24 team, so will have to do it tomorrow for sure! :-)

Please can I join this one too? I haven't used my Spark account in ages, but just bought the Android app and I'm going to start logging.

I've been lazy since November, and need my 10/10 3 times a week. The results in the Callanetics book are also pretty inspiring!

I am going for this! I'm going to take my measurements on Monday, and take photos each month to see how my body changes shape. Will it have the same affect as it had on the ladies on the DVD?! :-)
