Way to Go, back to report that since my last entry, I have gone down to 255 and remained there after I injured my left hip. So I'm just starting up with the exercises again after taking the better part of the summer off.

Didn't make it here last week I see. I lost another pound last week and that has kept me in a forward motion. Happy to say that I have also again this week lost another pound bringing me down to 258. I have to keep things going in the right direction. I have not changed what I have been eating or the exercise that I have been doing. It just seems to be the right time and the weight is coming off. WoooHOOO

Poor post last time. So lets get it right now. Have gone down 4 pounds. So now the scale is reading 260 ! WooHoo How are you doing?

Up and down today I changed my tracker to reflect the true weight that I am at. Now that I have taken the tracker up, I hope that next week I can come and bring it back down. And do that every week for some time to come.

This week has been really insanity when it came to stepping on the scale. Monday I was 260.8 and that was great. Then two days later I was talking with a friend and I told her that I felt that I'd put on 10#'s ! Sure enough I was retaining water big time. Thur. I got on the scale and I'd dropped 5 of those pounds and I'm not going to step back on the scale again until Monday when it is time. So there you go !

Well even with the SAT on I was unable to see what kind of moving around I was doing and when I stepped onto the scale I was upset with myself. I had put on 6.8 pounds. Now to get back to working the body and see if I can't make those pounds drop off quickly !

Sorry I have been gone from weigh in days ! Just been so stress with Bizz's illness and then his death. So it has been 5 weeks since he died and last week I took the bull by the horn once again and started another program. Hampton Healthy Lifestyle Plan ! It is very helpful for those with diatetes or pre. I lost 2.5 #'s WooHoo !!!!

Here it is Monday and another weigh-in point. Last week and for about a month I have been sitting at 270 and there you go, this morning once again I'm 270 and feeling that maybe the scale is broken right there ! Oh well, going to drop another 200 cal this week down to 1200 !
Keep walking and working in the gardens and mowing the lawns here ! How are you do ?

Well I'm not happy with the scale this morning. I have put on more weight not taken it off. Yet both of the pups have lost some weight. Bizz lost a pound and Zoe lost 2 ! Good for them. Both Pups are looking very good even without our daily walks ! Got to get back to exercise and eating right and tracking what I'm eating.

Here it is 2013 !! Started the New Year with a weight gain over the Last month with all the party going and bad eating that took place. So on Jan. 1 I hit the scale and there it was 263.8 ! Yesterday was much better seeing that the scale said 260.8 ! A nice week of eating correctly and thinking before I took anything to eat. Glad to start the year off with Spark People and a 3 pound loss ! Wishing you all a successful New Year ahead. !

Had a good week until the party for my oldest Grandniece. She turmed 15 and they gave her an Alice in Wonderland Party playing off the Mad Hatter Tea Party. Well, I had been ready for a piece of annv. cake two weeks ago, but I'd made up my mind that if it wasn't white cake I wasn't going to waste the calories. It wasn't and so I didn't have any. This cake was white cake and I wish that I could have stood as strong as I had been two weeks ago. It was wonderful, the frosting was so rich that it was choking me. So I didn't eat any more of the frosting just the white cake ! So I was ready to see a gain on the scale. Surprise I held my own ! Still standing on the 253 !

Been doing the Diabetes Challenge now for 4 week and 5 day. I have lost 5 pounds and 8.5 inches! I'm heading into the 250's and hope to mark that this week. I'm 260 and looking forward to the next 4 weeks of the challenge.

Well, I'm up today from the last time I was here ! 262.6 #'s that would be a 2.6# increase.
Yet for the last couple of months this seems to be my new set point ! Hoping this week to break the set point and get the scale coming down into the 250's ! Let you know how this go seeing that I'm doing the diabetes Challenge once again.

Well yesterday came and I forgot to let this weigh-In area know what I have done. Or not done.
I didn't lose anything or gain. Holding on the new scale at 268.2! Did start up the 30 day cure plan again yesterday and so no sugar for the next 10 days and today I made sure that I got my teaspoonfull of cinnamon.
I have also joined the Jumpstart Challenge for Jan. and have done the first weeks videos and cardio. Started the 2nd week and that has gone well. I was sure that with the added exercise I would have dropped but must have built some muscle that replaced the fat that I lost. we will see next week.

Week 1 on the 30 Day Cure to Diabetes. I have lost 3 #'s and 4 " ! I have brought my insulin down from 15 units with meals and bedtime to 12 units with meals and none at bedtime ! Heading in the right direction !

I'm back with a new food plan that I started yesterday ! On Oct 3 I was 260# since then I have gone back up to 275 #'s and am very happy to report that this morning I have come back down to where I was on Oct 3, 260#'s So we start again to lose the weight and watch the blood sugar #'s come down also. I'm doing a 30 Day Cure for Diabetes.

At the Endo office I had lost two pounds today ! That is great but on my scale I was still at the 260!
I am happy with that right now. But there is no more stalling and I have to get back to working out and getting the weight off the body !

WooHoo i have broken through or out of those 260's! Yesterday I weighed and I was down, but didn't want to get to excited over it! This morning being the offical day for the group did it again expecting the increase after the loss. Not today ! I lost 3#'s this week ! Great day! Now stay with the program and don't go looking for those #'s !

Last week I was 273#'s and this week I have taken the scale out of hiding and moved it from room to room and it still is saying Dear One, You have lost 14#'s this week. The 13 that you put on with the medication changed. And 1# to get you started on that second 25# challenge going in the right direction! Yes! Glad to be doing somehting right again!

Well last week I had a shocker at the endo doc's office. There scale is exactly 10#'s heavier than three scale that I use. Hospital, mine and brothers! How can that be, with NY Weights & Measures around. Hated seeing that figure once again. So I forgot to come here last week when All I could tell you is the same old thing 260 no gain, no lose !
This week I have a diffferent story! I am 273#'s and that isn't a scale error. It has to be the insulin or the new eating plan that I started on Wed. last week. I'm eating 1400 cals. and only 100g/day of carbs which means that 400 calories get burned up right out of the box and the other 1000 sit around until they burn up slowly. Protein takes take 3-4 hours and fats take 4-6 hours. Those carbs burn up from 30mins -2 hours ! Any way I have a 13# weight gain !

Thanks Colet ! You are doing well, but I have never ever heard that drinking room tempture water will help ! The body no matter what is going tol digest the food in a usual way for you. Let me know how this water thing works for you. I know that I have read and read that the body should never have more that 16 oz of water in any hour period of time. That is when you can start to over hydrate the cells causing the cell to become low on electrolites which can cause confusion and other signs of dehydration because there is an inbalance of the chemicals that the cells need to function correctly. I don't know how many oz are in a liter but please be cautious. Espcially during these hot and humide days. Everything including water in moderation. Will be watching for your next weigh-in ! Good news is you haven't gained...so some minor adjustments or just more activity, you should be on the right track in no time!

Yeah Kay! It must be so frustrating to watch your hard work be thwarted by meds. Hopefully the right formula will be found (with a 2# loss maybe it has) to get you back where you want to be.

I lost .9# this past week....too much running around & late night meals - then going to bed immediately afterward which is a BIG NO NO - so this week my focus is to drink 1 liter of room temperature water before I begin my day (according to Dr Oz and my trainer too ---ooohhh how I dread when he says he's adding something new at a plateau! At least I can handle this one!) it speeds your metabolism/fills you up (I just think he wants me to pee all morning!) and reduces storing fat on meals the rest of the day! Well - we'll see....

I will start this out and let you know that I have dropped 2#'s. I was 263 and today I'm 261 ! It is nice that I have lost 2#'s, but until I get back down to 260 these are pounds that I put on when I changed medication back in May and put on 12#'s! I'm getting close to really losing weight that will be lost for the first time around. Then I can do the happy dance !

Please feel free to tell how your doing. Either tell what you are weighing in as or just tell the pounds you have lost. What ever makes you feel comfortible. !
