I think the major factor in doing SFT is recognizing your hunger/satisfaction levels. That tends to be my issue a lot of the time. Currently, I'm counting points, but mainly eating foods from the Power Foods list.

As far as breakfast goes (with cold cereals), you can have Fiber One Original and shreded wheat (they're the 2 that I remember easily; there may be others). Add milk and fruit or even light bread toasted.

My usual breakfst during the summer/warm weather months is: The night before I mix 1 cup fat free plain yogurt mixed with 1/4 cup oats (old-fashioned), 1 tsp. canola oil, and 1/2 cup frozen berries--under SFT, this would be a points-free breakfast. If I don't mix it the night before, I leave out the oats and add 1/2 cup Fiber One Original cereal.

Hi Cathy - emoticon for clarifying anything not on the PFL to be tracked from the weekly points...

You mention that you have folks using just the PFL and enjoying it, which is emoticon are they shedding the weight as well as enjoying what they are eating????
That is the reason I want to use it, besides not having to track points+, I'm getting frustrated w/counting them...

To do Simply Filling, you eat from the Power Foods list. If you have something that is not on that list, use your 49 Weekly PointsPlus allowance to cover it. I have a good number of folks switching over to it and really enjoying it. It's certainly worth a try!

Diane, I have to stay on top of my points and cardio as well. I have resigned myself that it's just going to be that way or I'll need to put on 5 lbs. and see if it's better. I've struggled with that - I like how I look and my weight, but I've got a lot of wiggle room.

I think it's my age and that I'm at a lower weight....110 is not easy to maintain, but harder at 54:)

I've also started wearing a pedometer and realizing that other than my cardio, I wasn't moving as much as I thought. So I'm trying to increase my steps.

I haven't tried SF - I like the structure of points.

Hi Diane - I know exactly how you feel - I am in the same situation, as I said several times. I've looked at the Power Foods List and want to just use what's on that list - not sure if it's the same as SF - but I am going to attempt just eating what is on that list - maybe even counting the pts+ that I use for them...

Don't quit - you've worked too hard to get where you are - as many others have said making a switch in what you are eating - maybe using more pts+ - could "shake/trick" your body into "lose" mode.....

Good luck. emoticon

So sorry to hear about your struggles. I have done simply filling and love it. Right now the only reason I'm not doing it is that I am struggling with portions when I do SF. When I do SF, my breakfast is usually eggs, lean ham, oatmeal. unfrosted mini wheats, french toast with sugar free syrup, fruit. My breakfast this morning is 2 oz Boars Head deli ham on two slices of bread with tomatoes and onions and a banana. This actually meets the SF criteria based on the new list. I hope this helps. Just in case you don't have a power foods list handy, here is a link for it. www.weightwatchers.com/images/1033/d

Hi ladies. I was wondering if I could pick your brains. Friday at ww for the first time I told them I was ready to give up. I struggle to stay at goal. I mean struggle.. like obsession. If I don't get at least 1 1/2 hr of exercise a day and if I have one thing not on point I not only gain but have sever guilt. I have been at this for over 5 years.

One of my friends told me to do simply filling. She said it is like core. I am looking into it but since you can't have cereal what do you eat besides eggs for breakfast.

Anyone who is on SF and has any ideas for me would be appreciated. It is starting to get me depressed and obsessed... thank you so much. diane
