I hope I didn't confuse you too much. I'm really not good at giving instructions. LOL

You can put a can of pumpkin in any cake mix in replacement for all the other ingredients. It makes the best fudgy, chocolatey brownies with just a Devil's food cake mix and a can of pumpkin. Just be sure you are using pure pumpkin and not pumpkin pie mix.

Much higher in fiber, lower in fat and delicious!

Thank you all for your responses. I really appreciate your help. The recipe I was looking for was the one from IRISH914. I couldn't remember if it had water in it or something else. I knew it did not have eggs in it.

I like the sound of the one from SANDRAREGINA too. I think I will try that one sometime also.

I just made this over the week-end. The recipe I had also called for 1 cup of water along with one 15 oz can of pumpkin and the spice cake mix.
You can also add some pumpkin pie spice to it if you would like. I didn't. Some people said they really liked it the way it was--others wanted a more pumpkin spice flavor so up to you.

The only two ingredients in the cake are the cake mix and pumpkin. For something different, you can also use a spice cake and a can of diet root beer at room temperature (not flat). Bake according to package directions.

I don't know if this is the cake you were thinking of, but this is from the WW etools site:

Praline Pumpkin Cake
1 spray(s) cooking spray, (5 one-second sprays per serving)
15 oz canned pumpkin
12 oz fat-free evaporated milk
1/4 cup(s) fat-free egg substitute
1/2 cup(s) sugar
4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
18 1/4 oz unprepared white cake mix, 1 package
1/2 cup(s) (chopped) pecan halves, chopped
1/4 cup(s) reduced-calorie margarine, melted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat bottom and sides of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

Stir pumpkin, milk, egg substitute, sugar and pumpkin pie spice together in a medium bowl until smooth; pour into pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mixture and gently press it into pumpkin mixture to moisten. Sprinkle cake with pecans and then drizzle margarine evenly over top.

Bake, uncovered, until knife inserted in centre of cake comes out clean, about 50 to 60 minutes. Cool completely before slicing into 16 pieces.

I have a function this evening, and I was going to make the Weight Watchers Spice cake made with a can of pumpkin. I can't find my recipe and I want to know if there is any other ingredient in this cake. I need the recipe. Can someone please help me ASAP? I would so much appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
