Hi, my name is Wendy and weekends for me are always a struggle - trying to stay on target. The weeks are generally easier as there is structure - up at a specific time, eat at a specific time, etc. It just works easier. Hopefully I can become more successful on weekends with more accountability.
Wish me luck - I have been on this track for a long time now.

It is the weekend here in Arabia, Thursday and Friday are the days off. And this is a tough one. Eating out twice - last night was a birthday celebration. Today a business buffet. So the rest of the week I can do veggies and exercise. I am determined to stick with the salads today, and love them. Avoid the sticky sauces. Wish me luck! Wish I could share some of this plenty to the starving nations. But that just isn't practical. Thanks for making this group - it is support I can use.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm still struggling some during the week with regular exercise and eating healthy, but I seem to fall completely off track on the weekends. I hope to get some tips on how others have overcome the cycle of lazy weekends.

Hi, my name is Melissa and I'm looking for creative ways to get through the weekends. I do well all week when I'm at work, I eat a healthy breakfast, packed lunch and we plan our dinners. Then the weekend comes and I struggle the whole time. I think I've gotten better but I could still use some tips on what works for others and some motivation to make it through without gaining back what I've lost during the week.

Good Friday and the start of the weekend! I am about to start school vacation week with my kids and I am a litle bit worried-- the extended weekend! As I'm typing this, I'm thinking about how much exercise I'll need to do if I have some brownies or cookies at birthday parties.... THink I'm going to need a bit of support for this upcoming week! Yikes :)

Hi, everyone! I'm Trina. I have a tendency to slack off over the weekends, so I need all the help I can get. I have found one thing that's helped: a Biggest Loser challenge I participate in at another team has weigh-ins on Mondays. If I dangle this carrot in front of my mind's eye -- wanting a lower number on the scale come Monday -- then I'm a little more likely to stay on the wagon over the weekends. It helps, but I need more motivation than that, which is why I'm here!

My name is Manda, and I definitely need help on the weekends. I did badly all last weekend (we were traveling, and at a wedding), and it took me up until yesterday to get back on track. I'm still not fully "on track" yet, but now the weekend is here. Weekends are tough because we're always running around (so we eat out) or we are being lazy and get hungry, but need to go out.

We used to go out to eat every meal, every day, and I've been slowly trying to change that in the last few weeks, but the weekends... the weekends are the toughest!!

I joined Spark just a couple of weeks ago, and because of the weekends I haven't lost any weight yet - in fact, I gained a pound and a half since Day One! I'm trying to lose the same 30 pounds I lost four years ago! This weekend I will plan/prepare my meals in advance. Good luck to all, and thanks for your support!

I'm worried too, I'm thinking I might go to the top end of my calorie limit during the weekend so I can eat some lovely choccy! I try and stick to my lower calorie limit usually but there's going to be waaaay too much temptation.
Anyone else got any tactics we can use to prepare ourselves? help emoticon emoticon

In a way, I'm lucky. My sister has celiac, so holidays aren't as bad with carbs and stuff. However...I'm having a hard time avoiding yeast and refined sugars, which are my allergies. I'm hoping to be able to just be outside and active this weekend... that should help!

Have an awesome day friends!

Hi! I joined Spark a few years ago before my wedding but didn't really stick with it. I'm currently in maintanance and have come back for support! And my weekends DEFINITELY revolve around going out, having fun, and eating food!! So this seems like a good place to talk about it. Especially dreading this weekend...heading home for big family get togethers are never diet friendly for me! Good luck everyone!

How cool is this group! I fall off the wagon on the weekends. I find that I am not motivated to workout, and as a college students my friends are always wanting to go to the bar or just order some pizza. I hope that this group will help teach me how to stay on track? There's no such thing as diet alcohol...so sad. ;)

I was excited to come across this group! I do really great during the week --I stay on track with my food, exercise, and drink lots of water. Weekends tend to be a different story. As a college student with so many nights out and temptations on the weekend, it's hard for me to stay on track. I'm hoping that this group will help me to stay motivated and on track...

Hey all. I'm Elly. I seem to do really well with food during the week and really poorly on the weekend (including my day off) and then really poorly on exercise during the week and exercise pretty well on the weekend.

I think this will be a great team for me to be accountable to!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the spark team. I survived last weekend, by maintaining my weight loss. Which was a huge goal for me. Hi,
I'm a newly converter Spark girl. :-) I just finished 3 months of WW and didn't loose much weight. But, I did get myself into a routine of eating healthy and exercising at least three times a week. That was a really positive outcome of the whole thing.
But, I learned that I had no luck simply because I cheated the weekends away. So, I decided I needed a clean start and began SP last week. So far so good but hey, this is Monday. I'm hoping to gain some tips for making it through the weekend and learning to enjoy life sans the splurges. For me, they are the devil.

Hi everyone! My name is Jess. I'm 24 and most of the people I spend time with are 22-30 which means weekend activities tend to involve food and beer. I was doing much better but this past weekend involved a birthday celebration and I completely caved - pepperoni pizza, beer, way too much popcorn at the movie theater...and surprise surprise, the two pounds I lost last week found their way back home. So I'm joining up and buckling down! Wish me luck!!

Hi my name is Colette. Weekends are my thing. We go visit family and friends; and of course we eat out a lot. I joined SP in Feb. 2010 and have found that the food tracker is awesome. I love the fact that it lets you know where you are in your calorie intake.
Yep I need this team!!!
